@sinbach
I thought you were quoting song lyrics, and trying to see if anyone could finish it. So I googled it.
Nope.

I turned on my playlist this morning and first song was one from the BTJ Chinese Christmas album.
"Yesu Eye Knee" as Brother Yun says. Jesus loves you.
I had to sit down and replay it a few times. What a simple, yet very powerful and anointed song.
I wish I knew all the lyrics in English.
Anyone?

Had a great time camping with my nephew and visiting this place!

@sinbach
I think I was listening in the womb.
But how old are they?!
Maybe... just maybe... John Schlitt will look down in the audience and see me singing every word... my voice will miraculously pierce through the thousands... He pulls me up on stage, we sing, "God gave rock n roll to you"... then he hands me the mic and declares, "Behold! The new lead singer of Petra!"

It could happen...

I had an unexpected job loss this week, but I was going to leave in October anyway.
Making plans for India, Bhutan, etc.. directly after the BTJ Voice of the Persecuted Conference.
In the meantime, I think I'll paint my grain bin house and work on my minivan/truck.
Plus!
Petra 50th Anniversary tour in Marion IL October 15th!
@sinbach
They might sing Lucas McGraw!

@sinbach
I've been invited to speak at a conference next week about missions now on the field. I may have to use your 6 lies, unless you want to come and tell your own lies. You would be more interesting and better informed.

"God may allow His servant to succeed when He has disciplined him to a point where he does not need to succeed to be happy. The man who is elated by success and cast down by failure is still a carnal man. At best his fruit has a worm in it.

God will allow His servant to succeed when he has learned that success does not make him dearer to God nor more valuable in the total scheme of things."

Russia is committing so many atrocities. Scorched earth policy.. just simply destroying and making places inhabitable because they couldn't conquer in a short time. Hospitals and apartment buildings are randomly struck by long range missiles, killing hundreds of citizens.
For a while, Pastor Sasha and the people were trying to be positive and faith-filled. Now they brace themselves for the worst everyday.

I just spoke with Pastor Sasha in Kiev region, Ukraine for about an hour.

Actually he did the speaking, I just sat with my jaw dropped, not knowing how to respond.

But Samaritan's Purse and others are there with humanitarian aid, and partnering with Pastor Sasha.

On any given spiritual topic, there are myriads of opinions, accompanied by various Scripture references. This often leads the serious seeker to seek out an authoritative standard or voice to cut through the confusion.
The obvious solution is to "go back to the roots." But this means different things to different people.
Some go back to their childhood church, some to their denomination headquarters. Others seek out text by "fathers of the faith," or historical liturgy and tradition by long established institutions.
But there is only one true Root... The Root of Jesse, the Word made flesh, the Godhead in bodily form, the Cornerstone, the Good Shepherd, the Door, the King of kings, Lord of lords, Emmanuel, the Righteous Judge, the Savior of the world.
Yeshua hamashiach!
I have to believe that the Holy Spirit will guide me into all truth as I read the Gospels because they tell of the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

I also found an unopened DVD... "The Dead Sea Scrolls and the New Testament."
I must be feeling especially spiritual today!
But lest I boast...
Full disclosure... I also impulse-bought a Jackie Chan and Jet Li DVD.😆

Stopped into an antique store after church today and impulse-bought this.
It instantly reminded me of my favorite story in John 4. The really jacked up woman who met Jesus and then led her village to Him in a matter of moments.
I'll call it... "Take a drink and become a well."

I may be splitting hairs, and this may be controversial. But I am asking...
Why are Christians against abortion, the homo/trans agenda, and the other immoral issues that are at the forefront recently?
1) Is it because we fear God's judgment on America like Sodom and Gomorrah?

OR

2) We actually care about the unborn, the gay/trans eternal souls?

OR

3) some other reason?

Let's take a look at ourselves and ask our Father to reveal our motivations and attitudes. Perhaps we can make adjustments in our responses and actions?

@sinbach
I thought Canada was cold... she doesn't seem cold. 😆
