Andy B, Teaching Video - What is Reverence?

Is reverence something we need, as Christians, in the current world?

Is reverence a bygone requirement for believers, surpassed by the death & resurrection of Jesus?

Is reverence something we should be bothered about in our churches & families?

Andy B takes a look at something that he has been thinking through, & about, for more than 2 1/2 years; pondering & chewing what he saw as a lack of reverence in so many churches, it seems normal.

But is that normal good? Is that normal right?

What does God say about it?

What can we learn through scripture about the idea of reverence in our modern, fast paced world?

Andy B takes a good look at all of this, & draws some interesting conclusions about reverence, & it’s relevance, or not, in our homes & communities.

@bethany @DevotionalTreasures - this is the one you were waiting for

@sinbach I am so grateful for good healthcare. I sit right now in an ER. My special son has badly broken leg which has broken before. My heart is breaking but I am grateful for good care. I want miraculous healing, but I remain grateful.

Love this and it’s so true! He is either God or He isn’t. If He IS God then nothing that comes out way is outside of His control. Praise God He is ALWAYS who He says He is 🙌🏻

Sometimes, we forget our Gospel. The world is NOT GOING TO HELL in a hand-basket. The world is a beautiful place that is full of God's glory. One day, the world will be full of ONLY God's glory.

Yes, today, there is much evil in the world, but cheer up, Jesus has overcome that evil. This is the Gospel.

I was born a male and I identify as a male, but when I sit alone at Longhorn Steakhouse, my portion size identifies as a party of three.

Studying the Bible is not for an education that merely brings self-gratification.
It is essential preparation for active deployment.

"The search identified 45 relevant scientific papers and letters. The review showed that children have so far accounted for 1%‐5% of diagnosed COVID‐19 cases, they often have milder disease than adults and deaths have been extremely rare."

"These studies demonstrate what was and is already known: natural immunity for a SARS-type virus is robust, long-lasting, and broadly effective even in the case of mutations, generally more so than vaccines. In fact, a major contribution of 20th-century science has been to expand upon and further elucidate this principle that has been known since the ancient world. Every expert presumably knew this long before the current debates. The effort to pretend otherwise is a scientific scandal of the highest order, especially because the continued neglect of the topic is affecting the rights and freedoms of billions of people.”
