We don’t look at people as they are. We look at them as they should be. We look at them as they could be. And we look at them in Christ Jesus, that in Christ, they are complete, and they are whole [1 Timothy 2:4-6, 2 Peter 3:9]. And that is the way we look at them [Matthew 9:36]. That is how we treat them. We treat them with dignity, with honor, and with respect [Galatians 3:28, 1 Peter 2:17]. And we choose our words so that they reflect honor and respect regardless of what I see coming from them or through them [Romans 2:10-11]. I will speak evil of no man [Titus 3:2]. I will speak good [Matthew 12:34] as God has spoken about us and blessed us with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places [Ephesians 1:3]. I will bless all men [Numbers 6:24-26, Romans 12:14, Luke 6:27-28]. I will speak well. I will speak the blessings of God [James 3:10]. I will treat them as I would treat Christ [Matthew 25:40].

I don't usually get quite so excited about website stuff, but our www.BerryBunch.family website is no longer what it was when we started, which is great!

Our oldest son @StevenBerry came up with a better approach to the front page - which is now live. Now the front page finally reflects more of who and what we are!

With some quality photo assistance from middle son @TakeN the images came to life (and a little computer assistance for our newly dedicated green screen).

We had a fun time making those first two images 🙂 and hope this comes through all we do...especially Dave the Dog, our latest project.

Also, thanks mainly to some timely and godly inspiration by @DevotionalTreasures we finally have a proper name for all the regular videos we're making, and BerryBunch TV was born (albeit a year after it came to be.......)

I've included a couple of photos from the front page...

John 14:23‭-‬26
Jesus replied, “Loving me empowers you to obey my word. And my Father will love you so deeply that we will come to you and make you our dwelling place.
But those who don’t love me will not obey my words. The Father did not send me to speak my own revelation, but the words of my Father.
I am telling you this while I am still with you.
But when the Father sends the Spirit of Holiness, the One like me who sets you free, he will teach you all things in my name. And he will inspire you to remember every word that I’ve told you.

@VeritasDomain yes, but for now I'm discovering this one. Shalom

"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God."
- Romans 8:18-21

TRUE STORY
I was talking with a dear sister from Sudan the other day and she showed me the scars on her throat and arm. When I asked what they were she told me.
"The scar on my throat was from a hot metal poker that the doctor used to burn my throat to make my cough go away when I got the flu. It took three months for the burn to heal. The scars on my arm are from the burns of a hot iron to keep me from getting malaria. All of us were forced to do this in Sudan. It didn't work, but it didn't matter. It made the people feel like they were doing something to fight the disease and it was expected that everyone pretend it was working."
"Wow that's crazy," I said. "Everybody doing something that they know doesn't work, but makes them feel better about doing it anyway."
"Like wearing a mask?" she replied.
WOW! Puts it all into perspective. She deflated my western pride. In some ways we haven't advanced so much.
My Sudanese friend is a medical doctor and now lives in America.

@sinbach I love this! I 100% believe in these methods! Bless these guys! Today I read in our local newspaper about a mental health worker (nurse) who was in trial because of killing his girlfriend - the mother of their three underaged children. A person full of anger shouldn't work with vulnerable people. It's so upsetting. When it comes to mental health issues (like depression and addiction) I believe that you need to be filled with love to help. Knowledge (education) and medication is not enough, since the root cause is often a feeling of rejection and a broken heart longing for true love. The depression, suicidal thoughts and addictions are only symptoms of deeper issues. There are many who work as psychiatrists and other health professionals that are 100% focused on psychopharmacies, and lack love and empathy, and know nothing about spiritual issues.

Man shall not live by bread alone!
The earlier Mission challenge was non availability of Scripture in minority languages. Sadly present challenge is making people read the available scriptures.
Hoping to see more creative reading plans!

Thank God for with preloaded scriptures.
Bless those who produce and provide them at affordable prices in 3rd world countries.
