New derailleur, and now a replacement gear cable and outer....and a new rear wheel (last wheel died just after fitting the new derailleur).....my MTB finally has working gears......first time since I bought it 6-7 years ago...looking forward to, God willing, gettng out in the morning with Jo, and quite possibly getting a little muddy 🙂

@tanjaostman i just do it. no special device and I've NEVER used dictation software. I've thought about it, but I write much better to express my thoughts. my speech does not always best represent my conclusions.

About transgenderism in children. Parents and professionals are raising their concerns, since it's irreversible and the child is mutilated for the rest of its life (unable to have children, or to be fully a man or a woman). For instance: professionals are threatening parents with the sentence: "Do you want a dead daughter or a live boy?" (Or vice versa). But studies show that the suicide risk increases with transition - not that transitioning a child to the opposite gender is the only solution to identity problems/gender disorder. One documented side effect of puberty blockers is depression. There is no scientific evidence that 'gender affirmation therapy' is a solution.

@sinbach I'm impressed with your productivity when it comes to writing!! How do you do it technically? Do you use a voice dictation software, or are you a fast typer using the ten fingers method? (I learnt it when I was 20, and it's really useful... I write lots and lots of emails every day at work, especially these days when I work from home).
