Good news from #Germany
Many people have prayed and God helped us.

Yesterday, our parliament voted "no" to four different attempts to make a cov.Vax mandatory.

This might not last forever, but is a fight won. The Lord was gracious. Thank you!!!

We still have a law for specific jobs, teachers, hospitals, etc. which is active but not yet enforced.
So we keep on praying and being thankful.

@Knittinggrace to be honest: I did. 10 years ago or so. Dug up all the stuff about manuscripts, Textus Receptus, Majority Text and so on.
For a few years I was quite a fighter for the TR. But I'm getting older now I guess :)
It's no topic for me to argue anymore.
But I might give your link a look this weekend. See what it's about...

@Knittinggrace well, I'm not a KJV-only-ist nor do I believe Luther's 1545 translation is the only one for the German people.
But I also see the tendencies to wash down truths with modern language...

@Knittinggrace you are a bit spoiled in English: to have a good translation that's usable for 30 years (and 300 years for that matter). It's a bit more complicated in German. I use various translations and never the one I had as a child :(

But no. I don't really memorize on purpose. It happens sometimes by accident though, when I keep reading the same few verses over and over...
