I've come to the conclusion that the healing spoken of in those verses mean a spiritual healing, the healing of our spirit, which was dead in sin before Christ's healed it.
It is no prophecy for physical wellbeing, physical healing or prosperity for the New Covenant Church.

I've got a disciplinary warning letter from my employer today.
My mask wasn't all tight and I refused to yo daily nose-testing, but instead bought saliva-tests. Didn't work.
In Germany they can't fire you that fast, but there's a new law coming which makes it impossible to do certain jobs unvaccinated.
That's the latest date I expect to get fired.

Insanity rules worldwide.
But God rules over insanity.

But please know your situation is on my heart also.
It's a bit better in Germany, but I've also prepared my mind for job-loss or other consequences, since I work in a hospital and it's getting worse fast everywhere...

prophecy:

Isa 53:5: ...with his stripes we are healed.

fulfilment:

Mat 8:17: That it might be fulfilled... saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.

telling the church to accept the 2000yold fact:

1Pet 2:24: ... by whose stripes ye were healed.

I'm going to meditate on those truths.

I'd like to share a message @sinbach wrote to me a while ago. But it's good for everybody:

I found a group of people who meet every other week in a park about 30min from my home to openly worship Christ in prayer and song, apart from "sterile" Church environment.
They are very imperfect, can't really sing, don't even do Bible studies, just read a verse or two. YET it was a great honour to openly proclaim Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord and King in a fear-struck world.
Hey, and to give Brothers and Sisters a hug again. I almost forgot how good that is. :)
