@Chidiotamiri I didn't think of that. OK. But there it was God who spoke, not our Spirit.
I doubt you can use this to broaden up the use of tongues that far, but you know my position by now. ;)
@Chidiotamiri I'd like to stick to what the Bible says and not peoples 'experience'.
Mysteries are called mysteries for the reason that the person speaks things in a language unknown to him/herself. That should be evident.
It doesn't have anything to do with politics, science or other worldly activities you mention. It it for HIM. Not for US.
Stick to what is written, that's my humble advice to you.

Certainly the gift that you describe is NOT the gift the Bible speaks of but a counterfeit.
Read the Word. It's pretty clear what the 'biblical' gift of tongues is for - and what it is NOT for.
@sarikorpi how longsuffering can God be?! Seeing this insanity, bearing it. Still patiently waiting. I cannot imagine.
But one thing is sure: Judgement is coming over your country and mine and so many others if there is no repentance.

@sarikorpi yes. That's what I see too; and probably every sincere Christian. The difference between light and darkness becomes more visible the nearer we get to the end.
@paga4 the description given us from the Bible doesn't fit a single state. It's a global entity.

@Knittinggrace I didn't know all of that. Very sorry to hear. Yet, this statement is a big step for all those instituted churches. A big step in the right direction that is and a basis for all to help arguing.
