We know the timetable - the 7 Jewish feasts (#Passover)
We know the plan set in motion before the foundation of the world (#heirs) -bring many sons to glory
We know the events and were given clues - prophecy
Why? Because we are not expected to be passive observers, helpless or clueless...
Having the mind of Christ we can actively intervene for God in the chess game. Not as reactors but ahead of the moves on the world stage. The Spirit of God is ahead -so keep up. Our responses are meant to be proactive not reactive.
The intelligence this platform is giving you is not to discourage you or overwhelm you, but to help you know the players so that you can predict and intercept theirs moves. WHY? Because despite the challenges many sons have to come to glory.

Solomon's temple destroyed on Sabbath's end after 410 years just as the priests were reciting Psalm 94:23
2nd temple destroyed by fire after 420 years just as Christ prophecied.
Why? Because God remembers...
What? Corrupt leaders and priests bleeding the people of money and interfering with temple worship.
Don't think God does not see or will fail to take action.

Excitement reminds us that God is the source of all that is good.
Loneliness reminds us to make and keep good friends.
Happiness reminds us to be thankful to God.
These 3 feelings were expressed in Hannah's life.

@Rymiller843 so there you have it. Faith comes by hearing...The last thing your mind engages with will affect sleep. We are invited daily to renew our inner man -this happens at the end of our workday which is the start of God's day. As we sit at Christ's feet there are somethings to put off in order to pick up the goodies He has for us. In bed at 3 am we recite scripture and the Holy Spirit can cause us to connect scripture like dots to form a pattern. This pattern of bible passages carries clues as to how to approach our day or resolve a project. These streams of living water that come to us on our beds King David says it is my inner being instructing me. This Word that comes from the throne room helps us to frame godly responses to our environment. Without such throne room time, the strategy of Satan in Daniel 7 of exhausting God's people, rapidly changing times and laws will work. Additionally in regard of laws etc. remember 2/3 on earth need agreement for heaven to approve.

May the people of the world have clarity to see God's truth despite the cloudiness around.

@DevotionalTreasures why steadfastness? Well in preparation for becoming an #heir. An heir has to be relational, steady, sound, balanced, fair etc. when dealing with people and their challenges. Look at social media -the unsteady react to everything, The steadfast keep their hands on the oars navigating choppy waters because the goal of reaching the other side remains.
Faith, trials, steadfastness, functional heir (it is simply God's approved process for bring sons to glory). Steadfastness is not the goal but a necessity on the road to somewhere.
@pamela we are to be the church -this is not the same as going to church. God is relational. He acts and functions from the strength of #GoodRelationships. Unfortunately an emphasis on being spiritual (from human perspective not God's) robs us of the ability to be relational. Until we grasp that God's spirituality comes from being relational we will emphasize what we think is spirituality to the detriment of all else. To answer your question -both (Mark 12:29-34). Love God, love your neighbour, love yourself.
@Knittinggrace might we encourage more bible study and bible living by making our teaching and study sessions more interesting and deeply thought provoking with teachers who bring a Word from the throne room? If the Word grips our imagination might the world lose our interest?

Talking to him about suicide will not make him suicidal.
Often times anger is the root of depression.
The bottom line is that those closest to him can reach out and be used by God to alter the course of his life. Prayer opens a door for the King to enter. Healing begins when a concerned believer who feels out of his or her depth, reaches out to weep with those who weep.
@tanjaostman he never fully relinquished #idolatry. The sexual bondage is strong in Hinduism. Without deliverance many ministers will do more harm than good. Without good boundaries we will not form #GoodRelationships and without accountability the flesh falls into many traps. Many idolize ministers who are sparkling setting them up for pitfalls.
