This week, a man punches a woman in the face on a subway train full of men. Not one man does anything to help the woman, protect her from further assault, or to detain the man from assaulting the woman again. 😢
The woman stands there alone. Vulnerable. Hurting. She has been punched, threatened, and the man threatening her is in her face promising to do it again and NOT ONE MAN DOES ANYTHING to protect her from this open, aggressive, violence.
Is Christian chivalry dead? Do Christian men have an obligation to respond?

@sinbach this makes me sick. Last week on a Philadelphia train a women was harassed & raped while everyone watched…how can this happen?! How is there not at least one person willing to help?! 😔

@sinbach I've taught my boys to stand in the gap...they've already done so once, at primary school! Standing in-between the aggressor and their victim (I love my boys I truly do 'cos they rock!!)
I don't understand how nobody flinched to do something to intervene...I wouldn't be able to stand by and watch - if I had sole care for an infant then, yes, I'd probably be more protective than active....
what a sad society we have brought upon oursselves 😞
