@SCWatchman if you no longer sin as a follower of Christ, then I applaud you. Keep going and pls keep your lowly brother in prayer. Like Paul, I too am one who not only needs mercy from past sins, but ALSO from that which I do not want to do, but do and for not doing that which I want to do and do not (Romans 7:14-25). You are right - I am NOT in unbelief, BUT am redeemed and put my trust in Him. I share this beautiful message of redemption all over the world. My sins are forgiven! However, my transformation is painful and ugly and my sins need daily forgiveness. Like the sheep, I fall and need the shepherd. My battle with the flesh is daily. Though Christs forgiveness is immediate, my transformation tarries because of my love of the world and sin. God's Word is pure and His treasure is carried daily in this broken vessel made of earth and clay. I rejoice that His mercies are new every morning because Eugene Bach needs them every morning.
