"When Jesus said love your neighbour, he knew your neighbour would act, look, believe and love differently than you. It's kind of the point."

"Letting go doesn't mean giving up, but rather accepting that there are things that cannot be."

@Olamide ohm AMEN. Wish I could shout that louder ;-) but pretty sure you saw it as clearly as God hears it

Andy B

@Rinati I thank God that He chooses to use us at all...and continues to choose to use us, not despite us - but because of us, His precious creation :-)

Celebration Network: A man wanting to jump off a bridge in London was talked down by absolute strangers who proceeded to hold him for an hour until help arrived to get him down safely. Look at that grip. Look at the care, compassion, selflessness, and determination shown by complete strangers to a hurting human being.
This is what we.......the church should look like. Start seeing those who are hurting today. Be the light on the hill that God called the body of Christ to be! Matthew 5:14-16

"Why do we sin?
Why do we like to sin?
How much do we sin?

I know. Sorry. The Bible is the word of God. Nuff said!!. No. sorry. WE must Love God!

We must love everyone.

We must also Love our self.

We must be Good.

The Lord
Is good.
His love and faithfulness
Will last for EVER.
(Psalm 100:5)

Made in 2020. God bless."

@tekton that's really rather encouraging to me this morning

Thanks for sharing

Andy B

No one has been hated more than Jesus; No one has loved more than Jesus.

Have a good morning, everyone. Whenever that is in your place. :)

Isa 40:28-29: "Don't you know? Haven't you heard? The Lord is the eternal God, the Creator of the whole earth. He's never weak or tired; you can't find out all he knows. He gives strength to the weary and power the powerless."

@Jhayward @sinbach i always think of the man who gave His life to Jesus, while hanging on the cross next to Him

No water baptism.

No obvious filling of the Holy Spirit.

No 'churchy' things.

And yet evidently was gonna meet Jesus again based on just saying yes, as far as I can work it out....helps me keep perspective when I think about what constitutes 'coming to faith'

Andy B

@sinbach @Knittinggrace me too, on both fronts (although not the Swedish church bit ;-)

Andy B

@sinbach @StevenBerry I thought Iceland had already gone cashless, previously....then had major issues with computers failing and had to backtrack as people couldn't get paid or buy food...I may be wrong...

Andy B

@Knittinggrace @sinbach

Heard that one a few times

I started out in a baptist church (UK) & spent a year working with a fabulous [Pentecostal] school ministry team

They said I couldn't be filled with the Holy Spirit, since I didn't speak in tongues. Then I led worship, & they said I "shouldn't be able to lead worship like that unless i was filled with the Holy Spirit"

Thankfully, we just got on with the ministry, learned something about each other, and got closer to Christ 🙂

"No matter how long you have traveled in the wrong direction, you can always turn around."

@Olamide I love lots that Chris Volotten says and can listen to him all day long

His stories and delivery make everything seem so very personal and impacting

Does not convey how truly dark it is due to autocorrect...please pray for farmers as they are on evac standby and trying desperately to save their animals...
