@bethany @tanjaostman maybe I could say I feel like Boris Johnson, and be PM for a few years...they'd have to accept that wouldn't they?!? It they accept tis madness then my hypothetical claim is just as valid....although we're both men, both English, both love the UK, and both want to see this nation do well
Our approach may differ though.........

I sometimes don't feel British .....But I'm very definitely British......I mostly don't feel British because I'm embarrassed what being British is becoming

@tanjaostman the food analogy isn't belittling it either, since gender dysphoria affects the same part of the brain as both bolemia and anorexia... back when doctors were happier to work with the actual truth, they lumped those three conditions together as they are all to do with an incorrect self-image
@tanjaostman yes. The increased suicide rate after transgender surgery is extremely well known and documented...ignored, too, sadly! As is the fact that the idea of being the wrong sex is very common during puberty, and disappears on its own if left alone if it does occur

I've personally no issue with masks stopping the spread...that makes sense and has been demonstrated plenty of times
Common or garden masks to stop catching it? Nope...just nope!!!

The churches of Lalibela date back to the 12th century and are carved out in the mountains. The rock churches are a monument to the strength and endurance of the faith. Now, this ancient city and the nation of Ethiopia needs our prayers.

Met up with number one son, on my otherwise solo cycle.
Grass was really tall, & tough to plow through with multiple, long, deep (feet submerged while pedalling deep!) puddles that were unavoidable, but fun to do anyway :-) low gear and keep those pedals turning!!
A very muddy bike when I got home, and I wasn't much cleaner. Great time though, and having a break with my oldest - in the middle of nowhere - made it all the sweeter as we shared energy tablets and had a moment to chat together
With a newly replaced rear wheel, derailleur, gear cable & outer, my 2nd hand bike is finally working as it should....funny what we put up with - in my case for 6 years, with bad gear changes and no confidence the gears will stay where they should!
Still, all sorted now - onwards.
