@tymektt but after your name I've only got 991 characters to reply, on my most favourite subject

"All Scripture is useful for teaching and rebuking" is my simplest response, including Numbers, Leviticus, Song of Songs - with every other book too

As much as I like chocolate and steak, if I only ever eat that I'll become nutritionally imbalanced (even if chocolate really is a vegetable ;-) )

If we only ever teach the bible as [safe] stories (fables) instead of real history, that's all they'll learn & they'll grow up spiritually imbalanced

Us adults get more uncomfortable about some subjects than children are eg if we're not excited by sex within marriage; if we're not excited about God creating the world like He said He did; if we're not excited about introducing them to their own relationship with Jesus - who, or what, will they believe instead?!?

So in our home no subject (or scripture) is off limits, and "details to follow when you're older" is a line we rarely use

@DevotionalTreasures my Andy B 2 Minute Videos are never planned. I don't keep retaking until it sounds right. And they only happen if I have a inspiration...post editing is extremely limited to just adding a logo and cleaning the audio a tiny bit before uploading....I love those the most of all we do...precisely because they are not planned, but only ever come straight from the heart and inspiration of the Holy Spirit

@tymektt I truly miss the days when our boys were in slings!

Good times, good memories 🙂

Wondering if Amazon will try and squeeze our washing machine through the letterbox like they usually do with oversized parcels 😜 .......or perhaps leave it behind the bin?

5 stops away....washing is poised, ready to test it out on its arrival!!

@DevotionalTreasures Thanks Alan. You've bright my morning!!

BerryBunch is Magdi, really...

...doing something because we have the ability to do so, rather than putting it off until tomorrow, or until somebody else does it....that is her legacy

And, hopefully, this family brings hope...

Being flexible is extremely valuable in life, cos nothing ever goes to plan. Yesterday I was unable to get out running, so at the end of the day I went out for a short stroll, and simply enjoyed God's creation. (Can't get the picture right way up)

@davereimer Sounds very likely :-)

It defines you...and you never truly get beyond it

Thankyou

Andy

After such a day of technical issues, we're winding down for the evening. But I can't miss a year marking the life of our daughter, who died when she was 11 weeks old in the womb.

We named her Magdi - she would have been Peter's older sister.

She only lived for a very short time, but she made an impact on us that is lasting lifetimes!

I think of all we've done with BerryBunch and know her legacy, and what she taught us, are tightly connected.

When she died, we made a little Lego model to remember her, with the letter M built in the middle.

This photo, of that Lego model, was taken not long after - when we'd sold our home, to invest in a business that went on to be the last, and final, insurmountable God shaped object that prevented the opening of a lap dancing club.

That Lego model was a daily reminder to live the life we have while we have it, and a motto
"One Life Live It"

Looking forward to meeting her in heaven one day.

@JeremiahKranig James 1:5-6 is one I meditate on when big decisions are inbound, and in the last 4 years we've had some life definite decisions we've had to make!

But, I'll also pray - absolutely. And if you want to, I'm happy for you to DM me with anything more specific to pray into.

Andy B

Looking for prayer. I have some big decisions to make, and changes are inevitable.

We switched to a 7pm time for our weekday Prayer 2:62 but, to be honest, this really isn’t fitting with our family as we’d expected it to do. So, with some pretty big plans for Prayer 2:62 due in a month anyway, we’re gonna put a pause on Prayer 2:62 for now.

Our intention, God willing – when we change things up a bit – will be with a return to our previous time of 4pm, but with some exciting additions in the form of a prayer vlog/journal from Peter, and the wonderful Jo Jo and Peter creating a weekly Family Prayer Time video/idea to inspire you in your own situation. You can look at ones we’ve done previously here - berrybunch.family/resources/fa.

We don’t like having to cancel, and the time really isn’t working for us as we had planned for it to do.

So we’ll restart back on Monday 5th July for more Prayer 2:62.

The BerryBunch

@MaryMamuzich Thanks Mary

We're blessed with what we have.

But this is mostly just beyond what I know how to do, so when things go wrong it's not such an easy fix

I'm not one that often thinks 'something is going wrong so it must be the devil'

But on this occasion, I am wondering......no idea why, but the week, as weeks go, hasn't been a good one so far...lots to say thanks for, but lots more to fix, repair replace or sort out too...

@bethany not great at the mo........we've to a third recording of Endurance done - will see if my many hours today (we started this 6 hours ago) have made any difference when I start the editing in a few minutes (after I get another cup of tea!)

@mariapombo thanks Maria............your encouragement is more timely than you know right now!!
