@tanjaostman I can't see us doing it......especially post covid...but I'll keep imagining :-)
@tanjaostman interesting
@tanjaostman that place looks very interesting on Google earth. Wow!
@tanjaostman @StevenBerry @TakeN Thanks Tanja...we don't even have passports at the moment...but will remember the offer! π we've never had the opportunity to take out boys out of the UK yet...Guernsey when Steven was a baby, but we'd love to at least take them to France (Jo's first degree was in German and French, and part of our story is her helping me to prepare do my spoken French A-Level, the night before...I wasn't very good, but she helped me not get a fail!).
If God allows it, we'll explore some more of the world π
@tanjaostman @StevenBerry @TakeN
And forests :-) such peaceful and tranquil places
@tanjaostman good man - great effort! @StevenBerry loves his cross country running, and has got his brother - @TakeN doing it now too. :-) I keep wanting to start, but haven't run since school! Once with Jo (she lov s running too) but that was up a hill that felt like a cliff face...she was more patient with me that day than I think I deserved :-)
And what a place you live in...such beautiful scenery and views!
I went to Denmark as a boy (Legoland) and loved that area of the world...wish we could come back across the water....maybe one day, 'cos I'd love to do Sweden and Finland (I'm a fan of snow, not sun!)
@mariapombo Knowing our place in life, because of who our Father is, is both liberating and refreshing!
Good to see your encouraging words on hear again Maria π
@JeremiahKranig that sums far too much in the world
and the sad part is all the nodding going on with the reasoning at the bottom
perhaps rationality isn't everything it cracked up to?
here in the UK, schools teach children to NOT think critically, as per government legislation..........one reason why we home educate (at least while we're still allowed to) - the legislation states that children should be taught evolution as fact, and not question it, while Christian Creation must only be taught as a religious myth
when you know the history behind the British education system, this is especially sad, as it was the state that took over and brought in religious teachings.....
Listen to the end! This is from a big event in Los Angeles. Justin Bieber is delivering a message of hope in Jesus Christ. JB has still a huge fan base (189 million followers on Instagram), and what he is doing is impacting people! To come out of the closet as a Christian has been a huge step for him, so pray for him! His got great support from his mom, his wife Hailey and her parents Stephen and Kennya Baldwin, who all are believers in Jesus Christ. https://youtu.be/m7bVNA_CJRY
@TakeN A butt!
@StevenBerry Good lad
@StevenBerry Yep..
But the real question, is, when will we start seeing yours ;-)
@tanjaostman i remember something about this from last year - that governments [at a national level] were putting law in place to safeguard drug companies if their rushed vaccine making approach caused health problems, in order to speed things along to enable them to be quicker in creating a vaccine
@Toddkapper we've had that in the UK for a while. Not so much a dedicated team of police, but reports against preachers have landed a few of them under arrest
I didn't realize that France is suppressive regarding freedom of speech. There are actual police whose job it is to monitor churches for speech that they deem against minorities, LGBT, and against the government itself. Claiming that "Jesus is the only way" is considered hate speech and could subject you to arrest.
@Toddkapper and 'media claims' probably means made up....
@Toddkapper Thanks for the update
We don't have it in the UK....at this point
