Team Pure

really looking forward to so many things right now:

- I'm back on air baby 😁🙂

- airing my interview with Gordon T from Hope FM on my drivetime show - today - after 4pm, where we deal with the elephant in the room. two radio stations talking together and supporting each other?!? How does that happen? well we easily answer that one! after 4pm on air (and, later, on ourYouTube/Podcast Channels)

- 2 new daytime shows starting next week: The Wake Up Call (7-10am) and The Late Lunch (12 til 3pm) - both featuring some AMAZING content from Steve Legg, Canon J.John and Gordon T 😉

- God is good and i'm buzzing with the 10 (yes T E N) possible partnerships we've got going on right now: starting now and into next year

- Our App is available globally on Apple & Google - "Pure247Radio"

Am overwhelmed by how Pure247Radio.org has grown as it has - from 0 to this, is simply unbelievable!

For all of you who may have missed my photos, I do apologise. I've been rather busy of late, launching a fantastic new radio station, Pure 24/7 Radio (www.pure247radio.org). It has been a thrilling experience, and it's only just beginning. In fact, I'll be starting a breakfast show on the station very soon - the Wake-up Call - Live every weekday, 7-10am GMT.
Anyhow, now that I've settled into my role as Social Media Manager and DJ, I am able to get back into my hobbies, including photography.
And I thought I might begin with these two images from last year, which seemed quite relevant in light of the recent onset of winter here in the northern hemisphere.
So I present "A Frosty Sunrise"

I'm thankful for my family who keep encouraging me!

Hey up Dingdash family - something of a check in!

How are you today and what are you thankful for right now?

Part of a letter written by a Rwandan believer before he was killed, 1980.

I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice,
hesitate in the presence of adversity,
negotiate at the table of the enemy,
ponder at the pool of popularity,
or meander in the maze of mediocrity.

I am a disciple of Jesus Christ.
I must go until Heaven returns,
give until I drop,
preach until all know,
and work until He comes.
And when He comes to get His own,
He will have no problem recognizing me.
My colors will be clear.

Looking forward to hearing Steven D's interview with John Cooper (Skillet lead singer) from a press conference we were invited to attend recently as Pure 24/7 Radio.

That'll make its appearance on the Rock Show, of course - after 9pm for the interview (his show starts with heavy rock and metal from 8pm) ( that's UK time...)

I've not heard the interview, at all, so I'm looking forward to that!!

Andy B

no apologies for the post-drop - these are are some super encouraging interviews and we've been so busy setting up our radio station we've missed loads of stuff

so i'm posting the best bits from us of late

My weekly, 500 word blog posts are back too 😊

In every-day life there are a number of things that you must do – like breathing. Just saying! And there are a number of things you could do – such as going to work. There are also things that might be good for you to do, like going for a walk with your dog.

All good so far. But, tacked on to that list – all too frequently, and easily – are all those things that we ‘should do’. And I’m not convinced that we should allow those ‘shoulds’ to have so much influence over our live,s because doing something out of an obligation reduces so much of the joy we can experience in our lives.

I don’t know about you, but that sounds a tad heavy!

It should be time for bed by now! Or is it…

Have you ever been sitting thinking that you should get your children to bed?

It’s a noble goal, and children without boundaries will not do well as they move through life because life is full of boundaries.

S06E001, Matchstick Solutions

If you’ve ever removed a screw and put it back in to the same hole, you may know what feeling of panic when that screw simply keeps turning, and won’t tighten anymore. The hole has become worn, and so needs something to hold that screw firmly back in place.

A simple trick I was taught decades ago is to simply push in half a matchstick (and with the burning part removed!) and try that screw again. The tiny sliver of wood literally packs out the hole and gives the screw something to bind against, so it can be tightened properly. Perhaps try again with an additional half a match stick until that screw holds tight again.

Various moments in our lives cause to wiggle around a bit and we can become a bit loose, but what do we fill those voids with? Well, we can apply a similar solution to that wiggle room we have created in our lives, and pack th...[READ MORE ON OUR WEBSITE]...

Fancy some uplifting interviews? We've got you!

I love interviewing people and sharing something of their story and we've got a nice little growing catalogue of people I interview for my drivetime show.

If you're in the US that may well be your breakfast show 😀 as @MaryMamuzich often reminds me

Check out our Catch Up page for some uplifting interviews. So far i've interviwed a couple of who found Jesus after a family member was murdered; a UK evangelist who is living to the max despite a diagnosis of Young Onset Parkinsons Disease and Green Pastures - a charity that helps other charities/ministries/churches purchase homes for the homeless.

There are loads already, and more coming so check them out.
