25 years married later this year, and more in love than we were back in the mid 90s when God brought this godly, amazing, Holy Spirit filled, passionate women of God who brings the Proverbs 31 wife to real life 🙂

My new fountain pen is especially exciting - German engineering, and my first fountain pen for more than 3 decades!

This morning I am in awe of Father God, He has blessed me immensely over the years and lifted me out of despair often. But specifically I get excited when He gives me a clear direction in my writing for Him. From last night through to this morning He has led me to my next five blogs, a series on a famous chapter in His Word. I am so excited by this prospect, I humble myself and my pen to His service. All glory to Almighty God!

I took this pair of photos while on a composition-scouting walk. Sauntering along an uninspiring overgrown path, I noticed a petal on the floor which, unlike the rest around it, had a distinct resemblance to a heart. So, I stopped, and, experimenting with a number of angles and positions for myself and the subject, took the images below. Thankfully, the clouds blocked the sun for a short while at the time, which gave me a nicely diffused light to work with.
