Feeling discouraged tonight, please pray for me.

Today I noticed some large bird footprints going across the front porch, through the snow, and over to my neighbors' back porch. Looking out the window to see what bird it is, I was stunned to see a plump, gorgeous bird that I've never seen before! Doing some research, it is a Red Legged Partridge, also known as a French Partridge. Totally not native to Canada, so who knows how it got here? It seems to be happily residing under the back porch step for now. @PattersonGlenFarm

@MotherFarmer @heartnsoulr1 @PattersonGlenFarm@brighteon.social Haha! That's what I was thinking too! A partridge in a pear tree! It's a nice looking bird. So interesting.

*28:23-29* The farmer uses special tools to plant and harvest tender herbs so he will not destroy them. He takes into account how fragile they are. In the same way God takes all our individual circumstances and weaknesses into account. He deals with each of us sensitively. We should follow his example when we deal with others. Different people require different treatment. Be sensitive to the needs of those around you and the special treatment they may need.

*‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭28:23-29‬ ‭NIV* “Listen and hear my voice; pay attention and hear what I say. When a farmer plows for planting, does he plow continually? Does he keep on breaking up and working the soil? When he has leveled the surface, does he not sow caraway and scatter cumin? Does he not plant wheat in its place, barley in its plot, and spelt in its field? His God instructs him and teaches him the right way. Caraway is not threshed with a sledge, nor is the wheel of a cart rolled over cumin; caraway is beaten out with a rod, and cumin with a stick. Grain must be ground to make bread; so one does not go on threshing it forever. The wheels of a threshing cart may be rolled over it, but one does not use horses to grind grain. All this also comes from the Lord Almighty, whose plan is wonderful, whose wisdom is magnificent.”‬‬

@bethany So true! Let's keep believing and experiencing the works of God!🎶

I was reading 'The Growth of a Work of God" this morning, and reminded me of my favourite Hudson Taylor quote -

On a conference call with the Advisory Board of SavethepersecutedChristians.org with Frank Gaffney and Ambassador Sam Brownback speaking about the evil of the Chinese Communist Party in facial recognition AI technology. New advances in evil now track walking patterns, stress levels, ethnicity, along with other distinguishing characteristics. In America we need to prepare for the encroachment of dangerous technology targeting persecution and violation of basic human rights and Constitutional and religious freedoms. Also, more than 340 million of our Christian brothers and sisters live in places where they experience high levels of persecution and discrimination. That’s 1 in 8 Christians, worldwide. That is more than the entire population of the USA. Pray!

@farmerjohn May your visit be a blessing and encouragement to both of you, and also to others along the way.

@Asianking @Berrybunchfamily Sooo happy to get this news and to share with my children and husband as well!!!!! All things are possible!!!

@KarlGessler This sounds interesting. I look forward to hearing these episodes.

@heartnsoulr1
My sister and brother-in-law live in Canada. They made two igloos in their back yard. They've tried to keep things interesting for their children by sleeping in an igloo, cooking dinner in one on a wood-burning stove my brother-in-law made himself, and allowing the children to sit in the igloo to do school work. It's certainly not easy.

@MaryMamuzich A rare treat can be wonderful ☕☕ Especially when shared with someone special.

@MaryMamuzich looks delicious! What is in the mugs? And, yes, his expression is great! 😂
