One of my best friends with his daughter after her high school Christmas concert! His family was displaced by the Khmer Rouge and a local church in my home town figured out a way to get them out of a Thai refugee camp. We were good friends growing up, but he and his family were Buddhist and didn't have anything to do with the church. We had good discussions and I prayed that he would find his faith one day. That day finally came after college and he and his daughter are believers. Don't give up!

When weight training you shouldn't just work on the muscles that look good at the beach. So it is with the faith, you shouldn't just improve the areas of your life that look good in church.

When Saul allowed David to go fight Goliath, I imagine him taking many deep breaths, perhaps hyperventilating and wondering if he'd actually just handed his own head to the enemy.

Who can you give authority to, so they can be [further]empowered to do Gods will?!?

When David went to face Goliath, he stripped off the armour that the King gave him, so that he could fight his own way; so that he could fight the way God had trained him to fight.

Where is God stripping away your armour so you, too, can fight His way?!?

As we face up to another house move, I miss the home we owned, that we sold so we can live by faith - over 15 years ago.

It was a huge piece of armour! And yet, we have fought many battles, since, that that piece of armour would have prevented us from fighting.

So, where is God stripping away the armour you value - so you can fight God's way, in the way He has already trained you?

There is great fear in Germany among the vaccinated, the ones getting hit with COVID as did Nermin. The communicabilty is freaking the country out. Today the unvaccinated are not being allowed in recreational and social businesses. They may be making this man a Guinea pig and holding him unfairly or maybe it's purely spiritual. Prayer continuing.
