Many places in *South Asia are affected. Parts of Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, etc
It's a serious situation as, continuous crop loss can lead to famine, poverty induced migration, abandoning of traditional crops and dependency on GM crops, debt trap, etc

So @mary was feeling a bit off last weekend I checked her blood pressure. It was dangerously high (175/110) compared to usual (119/70). After checking her the next day with no improvement, I took her to the ER. When she was admitted it was 193/120. They looked for problems(none), gave her some meds, and she is now back to normal a week later. Our sitter had something similar happen, and also Heidi's therapist. All in the last 3 weeks with no other symptoms. Anyone else seeing anything like this?

Dementia is ......something I watched my dad disappear with and my mom fight to......what to say....to hold him from disappearing. He knew all of us but couldn't talk and we lost his loving personality - our leader and foundation - I guess one could say God was there but, oh, how our ground shook. God is ever faithful!
It was the most difficult time in live for me, a " Daddy's girl". I now walk the path my mom walked and fight the fight Mom fought. I need my DD family. I pray for those that have similar paths to walk - it's hard. But. It's a path that is illuminated by the presence of Jesus.

I've never met Olamide personally, just assuming that the fields he mentioned is a figure of speech. Fields =Ministering areas.

@Kruselady Thanks for the comment and appreciation. Sorry for not informing that the picture is not ours. It is taken from open source, to hide our identity and location.
We do ministry in 10/40 window Nations, where persecution is severe, our activities are constantly monitored by anti-Christian groups.

There was a farmer who grew excellent quality corn. Every year, he won the award for the best-grown corn. One year, a newspaper reporter interviewed him and discovered the farmer shared his seed corn with his neighbors. “How can you afford to share your best seed corn with your neighbors when they are entering corn in competition with yours each year?” the reporter asked.
“Why sir,” said the farmer, “Didn’t you know? The wind picks up pollen from the ripening corn and swirls it from field to field. If my neighbors grow inferior corn, cross-pollination will steadily degrade the quality of my corn. If I am to grow good corn, I must help my neighbors grow good corn.”
So is with our lives... Those who want to live meaningfully and well must help enrich the lives of others, for the value of a life is measured by the lives it touches. And those who choose to be happy must help others find happiness, for the welfare of each is bound up with the welfare of all.
