William Hunter - a martyr burnt to death in Brentwood, England at the age of 19 on 27 March 1555. He got into a dispute when discovered reading the Bible in Brentwood Chapel refusing to accept the dogma of transubstantiation. He was sent to London for trial but refusing to recant he was returned to Brentwood to be burnt. His story is recorded in Foxe’s Book of Martyrs. Foxe gives a figure of 300 martyrs between 1553 and 1558 many of them being inhabitants of Essex.
Chipping Ongar, Essex. One inhabitant of particular interest to me, was Ralph Jackson, a servant of Chipping Ongar, Nothing more is known of him except that John Foxe records that he was one of the Stratford Martyrs - eleven men and two women, who were burned at the stake together for their Protestant beliefs, either at Stratford-le-Bow or Stratford, Essex, on 27 June 1556 during the Marian persecutions.
this morning as we attend Sunday worship service, let's remember the 10s of thousands of children in Yemen that are dying. According the UN, this is the worst humanitarian disaster on the planet and Yemen is on the cusp of losing an ENTIRE GENERATION of children. LET US - THE CHURCH - BE A VOICE FOR THE VOICELESS.

Dear (non US citizens) brothers and sisters in Christ,
We in America Love the body of Christ around the world and pray for those under oppression for the gospel sake. Please take a moment and pray for us in the battle for our country here in the states. The stakes could not be higher and ask that you lift us up to the Father, and that darkness would be exposed by the tyrants and communists who wish to rule over us (Biden, deep state, Podesta, Obama’s, cia). May Jesus name be lifted up!
On the day we visited this church, late in the service I glanced around. At the door I could see 5 soldiers in combat gear talking - being so near the border I wondered if there was a problem. However nothing seemed amiss. A few minutes later I glanced around to see about 50 young soldiers around 18 years of age, then one by one they came forward one by one to take communion -it was one of the most moving things I have ever seen. Please pray for them and for their country of Armenia.
Please remember and pry for these beautiful young girls who live within 2 miles of the border from Azerbaijan - that God would protect them from all evil. Pray also for their priest who as an army chaplain will have left is wife and family to encourage and prayer for the soldiers - he truly was a spirit filled man.
The tragedy of war in Nagorno Karabakh. Please continue to pray. pray for the chaplains who minister to these young men soldiers many who are young conscripts.

For the first time ever, a pastor from the South Korean Hanawon joins us on our next podcast. What is the Hanawon? When North Korean's become refugees in South Korea, the gov provides 3 months of education for them to teach how to pay bills, order food, live in a capitalistic society and participate in democracy.
