Heard a great message from Francis Chan this morning about the world's belief in subjective truth.

"I think one of the most destructive practices of this generation is you value your own thoughts way too much, when God says "My thoughts are not the same as yours."
And yet, you want to look inside and tell everyone 'your' truth - what you've been thinking and what you've been feeling rather than opening up the word of God and saying "these truths are way beyond mine. This is truth."

We had such a fascinating time at a missions archive in Cambridge (UK) this week, filming our new series - Chasing Legacy. Such special stories of men and women who gave their lives to the mission field for the gospel.

Brother Yun and BTJ are responding to the deadly floods in Pakistan. Aid is being hand delivered by BTJ missionaries on the scene.

There is so much grief in my heart. I am grieving the loss of my stepdad. I am grieving for what my mother is currently going through. All I want is to take her home and make a home for her.

I spent the past 4 days and nights with her at the care home, holding her as she grieved at night. I’ve an inside view now, and I don’t want her there. I sill believe she needs to be with family.

She is also starting to wonder if God has abandoned her, she’s lost her husband, dogs, and home all at once.

Please pray for a miracle, that God makes a way for her to be with me. She needs to be with family that loves her. I don’t want the hardest time of her life, at 80 years of age, to be compounded by her being in a carehome. Needing some miracles from God and a path forward.

Also please pray for protection from Covid, a nurse there just came down with Covid, don’t want the facility to be locked down to where she can’t see me, or for her to get Covid and they stop me from seeing her 😭💔

Believing you will see the life transforming power of the mighty name of Jesus upon your situation as you submit it fully to Him!

Few dozens decided to fulfill the commandment, fully knowing the consequences. Social ostracism and harassment from community and family members are normal. Yet they are willing to take up their cross and follow Jesus.

With some news research you’ll discover that Al shabaab has initiated horrific attacks. Bombing and intense fighting has been going on for nearly two days.

Forge ambassadors are saying “We have not slept but are hiding out. We have peace that if we die then heaven awaits us. But we are burdened to the point of no sleep for our people. There is aggression and hate, the loss of innocent civilians, no peace in the people’s hearts, and no true belief. We are burdened with the darkness that covers this whole land, the relentlessness of satan repelling anything good.”
