In the history of the world, we have seen economic systems which primarily aim to make *everyone* richer, and secondarily make the the poor better off. And we have seen systems which primarily aim (or at least claim to try) to make the poor better off, but actually make everyone poorer.
But we have never seen a system which makes equality of outcome its goal which actually benefitted the poor, in real terms, over the long run.
So, that Time Magazine piece shocked a lot of us in how openly it discussed how the deck was stacked against Trump in the election. But Doug Wilson has taken it a step further and identified why it was written:
"What happened in this last election was widespread enough, flagrant enough, and obvious enough that it cannot really be kept out of the hands of competent historians. At some point in the foreseeable future, a definitive and honest account really will be written, and this article is designed to have a “proper and approved” narrative lined up beforehand. “We have always acknowledged, and quite openly, that we did thus and such. Jeffrey T. Morehouse’s book is yesterday’s newspaper. Yawn.""
Pray for our friends in Myanmar and our leader, Dr. David Joy. They are experiencing a coup. Pray for the Lord to shine brighter! From Fox news, the military actually did something due to voter fraud in their November election: "Myawaddy TV, which is controlled by the military, announced the takeover and cited a section of the military-drafted constitution due to-voter fraud in last November's election and its failure to postpone the election because of the coronavirus crisis."
"God is going to deliver us, but He is going to do it in such a way as that He gets the glory. And by “He,” I am not referring to the pasty, enervated, etiolated, and anemic god of American civic religion. I am referring to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."
@TakeN Nothing. 😊
"And he who is not sufficiently courageous even to defend his soul—don't let him be proud of his “progressive” views, don't let him boast that he is an academician or a people's artist, a merited figure, or a general—let him say to himself: I am in the herd, and a coward. It's all the same to me as long as I'm fed and warm." - Alexander Solzhenitsyn (https://www.orthodoxytoday.org/articles/SolhenitsynLies.php)
@Cherishingsparrows2020 @KarlGessler @sinbach It's apparently fairly easy for the owner of a web server to block traffic being redirected from another domain: https://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/59872/unwanted-redirect-from-a-domain-to-my-site
@eseymour just rightly pointed out that www.antifa.com now redirects to the White House.
@ALM you can still find it at the Internet Wayback Machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20210120005210/https://www.whitehouse.gov/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/The-Presidents-Advisory-1776-Commission-Final-Report.pdf

@sinbach Thank you so much for this timely exhortation.
There is not a square inch in the whole domain of our human existence over which Christ, who is Sovereign over all, does not cry: 'Mine! '
