@ShanHB I am in Sweden and this is absolutely the case at the moment. Swedish cases of death have been going down for a long time and are basically zero or near zero without ever closing primary schools, restaurants, and shops. Our church never closed and I have never seen anyone wear a mask. I am a BIG BIG fan of Sweden's approach.

This is one of the homes in Beirut that was impacted by the explosion. The family cannot live in the building any more, so our Chinese friends are helping supply food to them.

@tymektt right? it makes zero sense why any nation would give money to Lebanon or to the UN right now with the hopes that they would be able to help in the disaster. the money for aid in Lebanon is much better spent by giving to smaller organisations. Even if the smaller oganizations misuse it - it will be a smaller percentage of mismanagement than giving to Lebanon government or to the UN.
