Have you heard of the kingdom of God? Did you know that it is real? Lets compare an earthly kingdom to the kingdom of God
Earthly kingdom - kingdom of God
Has a King - has a King
Has citizens - has citizens (Christians)
Has laws - Has laws too (the entire Bible including the Law)
Has land for a kingdom - His land is wherever his people are.
Do you get it? Unless God has specifically said he changed it can we change it?

The Law of God was instituted at creation or according to the scriptures, created by God. Genesis 7:2; 7:8; 8:20; 26:5, and is still applicable for us in NT times, Acts 17:11 (what were the scriptures at this time? the law and the prophets), Acts 15:21 The law is read in the synagogues if they want to know more. Are we satisfied to simply do as we are told or do we want to please God and go farther.

Now, apply this to God's word. Is God's law a tradition or has it been given for our benefit and safety? Can we just disobey God's law because we want? What happens to lawbreakers in your country? They are punished, right? It is the same with God's word.
Can we remove or change the laws of our land? NO! Again, can we do that to the laws that were created by one so much more powerful?

Are the laws of our countries just traditions or based on traditions? Or are they instructions to us as to how we live in their country for our safety?Is it okay for us to disobey the governments of our countries?

@sinbach You are right on this. And as you said @Knittinggrace we should take a lesson from this.
Just as a note, I was not advocating that Martin Luther was a communist, he still had many things that did not match the communistic ideals.

@sinbach @Knittinggrace The only thing on that list that Martin Luther did not have that would match communism would be that he believed in God. Did you know that Karl Marx really liked Martin Luther? Also, Communism has been around since the tower of Babel (The book of Enoch and the Book Of Jasher state that Nimrod wanted all money to go to him then he would distribute it to whoever he thought needed it. He also encouraged violence and killed believers.

@sinbach @Knittinggrace I may be wrong on this point but if I can remember right, Martin Luther was an agnostic.

@sinbach @Knittinggrace I would not say he was not a bloody man because he was certainly violent. As one writer stated, He was the equivalent to Hitler.

@sinbach @Knittinggrace If Luther was never violent, then why did he advocate the destruction of homes of Jews, The enslavement of Jews, and the murdering of their families?

@sinbach This may just be the beginning of God's judgments on china. I wonder if this is going to get worse.

@ChristieLeanne Not if it has been canned. If it is home made it smells and tastes great. All you need is a SCOBY, black tea, sugar, and a nonreactive jar and you are set. This stuff is loaded with probiotics if they have not been heated and killed and tastes like a old fashioned fizzy apple cider. Depending on where you live I might be able to get you started on it if you are interested.
