You might think I am a little weird, because I'm tapping birch sap. It's super healthy and I give it to my son to enhance his immune system, since it helps against pollen allergy. It's very easy to tap, and we have birches, so why not... it's expensive in grocery stores. (And to all tree huggers: it doesn't hurt the tree. We plug the hole when we are finished and it heals).

@farmerjohn Such a great article! Almost 12 years on an average in prison. Respect!! Some say, persecution is the normal and a peaceful life is an exception throughout Church history. Am I prepared for that? I don’t think so, and I don’t want it to come and I am quite comfortable… but I see some signs that it’s coming here. Still people are not killed here, but “canceled” and slandered. Do I have my identity and security in Christ, or in “Christian stuff” like Church buildings, traditions, denominations, pastors, own assignments, loyalties? I don’t think so… I’ve been in a (painful) process the last ten years of being stripped away things that have given me a false sense of security and identity. God is preparing me, and others, for something. I’ve seen people struggle with their religious identity the last year (like I haven’t), when they have not been able to meet in certain buildings. The Chinese know that Christ lives within them and is with them regardless of where they are.

@gerdmoebehrens Thanks for sharing! I appreciate when highly educated people take a stance on the issue, and think critically. I've been skeptical of vaccines for years - long before covid 19. Do you know if there is any safe vaccine for covid? I know that the most used and famous are not safe...

@MaryMamuzich thank you - I would love to visit your country as well! It's almost embarrassing to admit that I've never been to the USA 🇱🇷. We have checked flight prices (non-stop from Helsinki to New York and Miami) but always ended up in Asia, since it's quite expensive to stay at hotels and eat out for 2-3 weeks in the US. And in addition the prices are higher during school holidays. I've been to lots of countries in Europe, some countries in Asia and even in Morocco in N. Africa. But I'd LOVE to travel much more if I could afford it, and if it would be easier to find time for it... my husband is quite busy with his projects, my son is in school, and I work full-time. So the summer is the least busy, but it's the best time of the year to stay in Finland.

Neil Cole is one of my favorite authors on ekklesiology (ex. Church 3.0, Organic Church – Growing faith where life happens etc.) This thought provocing clip is about teaching VS learning, and the idea of the sermon taking the centerstage in Christianity. “Doctrines don’t hold us together, they divide… Doctrine is not the path to unity and the solution to everything – love and humility is… ALL of life is an education… Teaching without learning is meaningless”.

Yes, it's true! You can check the link. (Sverige = Sweden, Suomi = Finland). Before the plandemic we used to travel between the countries without border controls and passports (by car, plane, boat).
