With new restrictions marching back in some places, political tensions high (at least in the US) and an uncertain future in front of us, what do we do? Worship! Read my latest post to be encouraged by a word I received from God. May you find the lifeline you need to carry you through the chaos with peace and joy. ❤️🙌 theovercomers.blog/2021/08/20/

@Williams_girl great to hear that you are on that same road... and that you are a fan of his books, too.

@sinbach you seem to be rebuked every now and then by different persons. I understand it might hurt more to hear it from a respected leader. It was rude, since there is no consensus among the experts if they help or not. (Even if they would, I still hate them). Take courage my friend! Never become an average, boring person! Be yourself (always)!

@sinbach I listened already! It was a great interview! He is a multifaceted and well informed person, just like you, so he has written about a wide variety of things. He was the first author I read that wrote about the stuff that I was frustrated with regarding the Church "There must be more", to quote him... meaning sitting in a pew being a spectator and not sharing life with others). He confirmed what I already knew in my spirit, but I wasn't sure if it was from the Lord. (The things he writes in Pagan Christianity and Reimagining Church). Because of that he has received lots of hate mail, mostly by people who have not even read the book.

@sinbach woop! 🙌 You have interviewed Viola!? My favorite Podcaster interviewed my favorite author, you're joking! Will listen ASAP! 😀

Praying for BTJ family in Afghan too. Pray and help them as the Lord leads. I just spoke to our friend Tahir and he reports that over 100 have fled Afghan to his place in PK.  They had 3 pastors in Afghan and 2 so far with their families have made it to PK.  Pastor Siddique and his family have lost contact.  They all had to take hidden paths away from all roads and highways to evade the taliban.  Many of the women had their clothes ripped and torn from climbing steep rocks and terrain.   Some of the daughters were kidnapped in the last few days and did not make it.  So tragic and evil indeed. Pray for Siddique and his family to make it to PK.  Pray for all the brethren to be covered in His wings and made invisible from evil killers.  I asked Tahir how many were making it out and he said they are heading to the closest border depending on where they are.  We have already raised saved several thousand for this .

We got word an hour ago of one of our pastors in Afghanistan, Pastor Siddique, was notified that his house now belongs to the Taliban and 'they know what he is doing.' His family has fled to the country side and others are also being threatened. We ask you to pray. CMM has already received some funds to send to them and other friends' groups working in Afghanistan like FAI and others. These are front line warriors risking their lives to share Jesus' love. As the Lord leads give at www.cmm.world for rapid response fund or covert.

Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde wants Sweden to help the Taliban “government” to become feminist, and focus on gender issues… It’s not satire! Do you think they will listen to a Swedish woman if she raises her voice? I don’t know if I should laugh or cry! Sweden is the most extreme country in the world when it comes to values (secularism and individualism, the upper right corner). The opposite to the Swedish value system is the grey area. Sweden has taken in lots of migrants from countries in the grey area, and there have been cultural clashes and they don’t know how to handle it. Neither party. I don’t want to be rude against Mrs Linde, but I ask for a little more humility, perspective, and self-awareness! Sweden is not the same country anymore as when they had Raoul Wallenberg and Dag Hammarskjöld.

My husband got 2 Pfizer shots in April
Ever since his memory is getting worse. He can't remember what I said 10 minutes ago. He has breathing problems which seems to get worse and worse.
He feels dizzy which gets worse
He has no energy and basically can't work anymore
Walking to the mailbox seems to be too much most of the time

I do all the work & am now making a list of things that need to be done so I can higher someone

When do I tell the kids? They got their shots as well

@Berrybunchfamily I see! And at the moment it's hard to plan trips, even if you would both have passports, money and time. Our son has traveled abroad several times with us, but it's so much cheaper to pay only for three persons, and in addition he has been so young so he has traveled with discounts and slept in the same hotel room. We don't plan any travel because of the world situation.

@Berrybunchfamily yes, it's a serene place! We love to bike, walk or run there. But it's an open place like the sea, so it's often windy.

@Berrybunchfamily @StevenBerry @TakeN thanks on his behalf! Yes I have noticed that your boys are into running 🏃‍♂️. We have more forests than open fields in Finland, I suppose. This is a meteorite crater, that has been like a lake, filled with water. They drained it less than a century ago and have been growing crops ever since. We use to bike around it, and it's about 20 km. There are roads crossing it. If you look up Söderfjärden Finland on maps and choose satellite picture, you can see the round field (the crater). If it's not possible to copy the word (because of the letters) you can type the name of our village Sundom. You are very welcome to visit Finland and our home!

My husband Johan was running half marathon today. For me it was enough just to bike 9 km (back and forth) to go and watch him. This is quite the opposite of a city marathon...😅 very few participants, and in the countryside outside of our village.

Maybe it is because I have lived in China for over 20 years? I don't know, but I LOVE tea sooooo much more than coffee. And without exaggeration - BTJ teas are the best on the market.
They are great for home, church, and Bible studies AND EVERY BOX of TEA SOLD goes to support the school fees of children of persecuted Christians.

@sinbach I need to find out if it's possible to order the tea to Finland (and I like the idea of buying things you like for a good cause)! I'm a connoisseur when it comes to tea, and I prefer organic. I trust your recommendations! I belong to a minority in many areas, even when it comes to preferring tea before coffee. Finns are the top coffee drinkers in the world, and Sweden wins the silver medal.
