A true testimony of what our dear brothers and sisters just endured when taken hostage in Haiti! Their escape was beautiful! Worth the time!

Greetings
As many of you remember,we lost our van. A SPECIAL THANK YOU to all who helped during those difficult days!
Since then, we have learned that we can't buy our own vehicle until we get a license plate which is only possible when the gov. randomly draws our name from the millions who have also applied. It can take up to 5 years.SO...we need to rent a car for the time being.
THE MIRACLE:
We found a 7 PASSENGER CAR! The owner is a CHRISTIAN
Another AMAZING thing is that this car has a Beijing license plate which means we can drive to **JOSHUA'S HOSPITAL and Stuart's EMPLOYMENT** This is HUGE!
THE DILEMMA:
We need to rent for 1 year in order to secure the low price and not lose the car!
We need to raise $8000 before Dec.30th to keep it.
WE bring this need before God and our Brothers & Sisters because it is a critical need!
Here is the link if your able to help! Merry Christmas! May you all feel Jesus in a special way this year! paypal.me/WeaverFamilyChina
God Bless

We love our market shopping day. We would rather support our Chinese farmers than big supermarkets! And it’s wonderful to mingle and talk with them. The regulars have become like a sort of family! It’s really precious!

On May 1, 2018, Huldah's husband, Abraham, didn't return home. The next day, his beheaded body was found. It is believed that Hindu radicals falsely told a Maoist group (Naxalites) that he was a police informant. The Maoist group, who generally oppose the government, killed him.

Pray for Huldah and her two adopted children as they continue in ministry and cope with such a great loss.

Advice for wives:
When a woman desires to change a man, she is essentially communicating an attitude of superiority towards him. “If only he was as neat/spiritual/smart/thoughtful as I am!”
Her demands, criticisms, not-so-subtle hints, comparisons, and constant nagging accomplish nothing. Instead of eliciting a change within his heart, these tactics almost always have the opposite effect.
More than anything else, a man wishes to be accepted for who he is. Instead of focusing on any faults, a woman can accept her man by always seeking to look towards his better side.
In respecting his convictions, preferences, dreams, abilities and ways of doing things, she communicates both honor and respect.
Learning how to be an excellent wife requires a tremendous amount of humility. Without this foundation, change will be difficult! A woman striving for virtue must always possess a teachable heart. Only then can she ever hope to be her husband’s crown and dearest companion.

I deployed with the army as a DOD civilian in 1996 as a part of a peacekeeping mission. I was a real estate negotiator for properties needed belonging to civilians. One of my translators was a young Bosnian, Nermin. We became close friends while we served together, although at one point he reported me for my Christian witness. He spoke Russian, German, English and his native tongue. I recently found him through Facebook in Berlin as an international attorney. He shared how depressed he was. His wife and child were killed in an accident on the road to Sarajevo a few years back and he has not healed. He spoke of wanting to work in the US. I have invited him to come to my home and we are working on a visa. A few weeks ago after a trip to Ukraine he contracted COVID even though vaccinated twice and was hospitalized for 10 days. Sunday past he returned to the hospital again having breathing issues. Please join me in praying for his healing.

Tonight my son got home and was sharing his his feet hurt after a long day! His little daughter (only two years old) overheard him and said “ go sit down Daddy! I’m a doctor and I’ll help you”. She helped him sit down and then got her toy stethoscope and bandaids. And made Daddy all better!

Her love for medical runs in our blood. Most of us love solving medical issues for people and children that we see or deal with here in China!
I love moments like these!

This precious man won our hearts today! And we were able to bring a lot of smiles to his beautiful brown face! He is 83 years old! And sitting outside in the cold selling vegetables he grew! It was a great joy to buy from him. His hands were brown and cracked from his hard work, and his half toothless grin is amazing! He was so excited to talk to a Foriegner. He has lived a very hard life ( his whole generation has).
We will be looking for him each week and hopefully we can be a Blessing in his life!

@sinbach Let's begin a time of prayer for this to not happen. I have seen God move before and would love to see Him move again.

Grateful for the prayers. Steven a little ill, Nathan ok, Peter is cold and has a mild headache.

Jo and I barely able to leave the bed (I really don't like hanging around in a bed!). Pain killers finally reducing my headache. We're exhausted, and we can't think straight.

On the plus side I woke up today without the odd sensation in my lungs that I've had for the past few days....can't describe ii verh well...perhaps like a cold pain? That's now gone, thankfully!

25th wedding anniversary plans now killed off, which is the least of our issues.

This little one has gone to heaven. Thank you to all who prayed for him. He can now run and play and suffer no longer with pain.

These are pictures we took at an orphanage we visit to help. Our hearts break as we wipe dirt or dry vomit off their little bodies. Or unleash them from a chain holding them to the wall so they can’t move more than a foot away. Or tend their oozing infections in their mouths, feet or wherever. When I have one of these little ones near me all I feel is love and compassion. To tend them with the most Jesus love possible. We can’t go see them right now because of covid. I hate covid. But when I PRAY, I ASK GOD TO SHEILD THEIR MINDS AND HEARTS and to help them feel HIS LOVE regardless of what humans are doing. And I BELIEVE with ALL MY HEART that God answers and honors these prayers. For HIS heart breaks even more than mine.

So Christians please care! As a church we CAN make a difference. We can adopt. We can support financially. We can help physically. We can pray. We can advocate.

Or We can forget and look away.

My thoughts from China tonight.

We just got a phone call from an orphanage that has a little 2 year old that is facing end of life. They are asking us to consider respite love and care....please pray we have wisdom! We will be learning more, but so far he is on oxygen 24 hours a day....and it sounds like having seizures too....

Blessings
