I am seeing a small number of Christians starting to adopt the idea that Putin is the good guy and supporting his invasion of Ukraine. I am seeing an increase of believers saying that Putin is destroying the One World Government, destroying the Deep State, and ending child trafficking.
Personally, from the evidence that I have seen - this is a lie.
Anyone that believes otherwise, I invite you to convince me otherwise.
@Jorge as you know brother, I am a big supporter of free speech - even speech i disagree with. I listened to the other side. I have looked at the evidence. So it is up to us as Christian leaders to inform, keep an open forum, and not allow the enemy to steal, lie, and destroy.
@sinbach Really so much going on behind the scenes. Put-in then Put-out! He is much different and Russians fight different than US. Still, no excuse for his maniacal, Hitler-like behavior. Yes, agreed too, I am for free speech always, even when we disagree. We do have educate and enlighten those we can. Discernment and non-knee jerk reactionary tendencies can hinder genuine critical thinking skills no matter our political or doctrinal persuasion. Lord, help us think and see for ourselves Your heart clearly!
@sinbach I've been seeing this too. I don't pretend to understand all that's going on (because I know I don't understand it all!). I would be interested in hearing more of your thoughts on these viewpoints and the evidence that points otherwise. I personally don't think Putin is just trying to destroy child trafficking and biolabs, because it seems if that were the case, the evidence would be different than what we are seeing. But, at the same time, I have become quite skeptical of the media.
@sinbach Yes, I've noticed this too, and it's a bit scary actually, because I'm thinking, what if it was Finland and not Ukraine? Would people think all kind of bad about us too and salute how Putin is actually doing a good job when destroying us and our country..? I admit, it's probably a confusing thought that the main stream media would talk truth "for once"(and I agree they often don't), so I can very well understand how it's easy to start playing around with thoughts of all kinds of conspiracy theories. But I believe this time they are telling the truth about Putin. There really is demonic forces behind him. I probably would have been looking for these alternative theories too, if it wasn't for the fact that this dictator is my neighbour..! We living next door have a long history that teaches us NOT to be naive. We know this is for real and we could be next.
@sinbach you're so right! Putin really has done a lot of bad things during the years, and not least to Christians in the country. I remember reading already about 10-15 years ago how he destroyed a Pentacostal church without any legal reasons. He showed his true character already then.

@sinbach many people come to the conclusion that there is NO good guy whatsoever in this mess. Not on the one and neither on the other side.

@sinbach Both leaders, their governments and part of their citizenry are corrupt. Ukraine’s president is no saint, neither is Putin. Some Ukrainians are part of the human trafficking evil activity. I pray for the Christ followers in both countries. May God guide them and give them wisdom.
@Pablito we could play this game all day long talking about the failure of leadership, but let's not piss around the bush here - PUTIN has been shutting down churches, persecuting believers, attacking Christians, and hunting evangelists. Human trafficking? Russia is a top TIER 3 nation for human trafficking - the top rating that you can get - according to a study conducted by Ivanka Trump. We just brought a team of Russian believers together last month to find ways around the Russian government persecution because it has gotten so bad under Putin. What Russia is doing in the Ukraine is supported by China, North Korea, and Iran - that should give you all the information you need to know - right there. Russia is supporting operations in Syria to attack Israel - yes the land of Magog is attacking Israel, but no please, tell me more about how the Prez of the Ukraine, a Jew coming from a family that died in the Holocaust and is now fighting for his nation is just as bad as Putin.
@sinbach Thank you for the enlightenment about Putin. I didn’t know all those particulars. I did know he had begun to work against the Christians in his country. That was my first time to hear that Zelenskiy is a Jew.

@sinbach It's definitely not as black and white as the mainstream media would like you to believe. The US backed Euromaiden coup in 2014 angried many russia-minded Ukrainians, by illegally removing a Russia-friendly president from power. So areas in East-Ukraine, including Krimea, Donetsk and Luhansk wanted out from this new illegal government. A Minks treaty between Russia and Ukraine was drafted, but instead Ukraine was shelling these independent areas for eight years, causing at least 11 000 people to die there. Putin felt the need to protect the Russia-minded people in those areas. He was also concerned about NATO expanding and Zelensky's plans to develop nuclear weapons. I believe Putin is making a mistake with this attack, but he has some very real and understandable reasons for doing it. About the One World Government: Putin has clearly expressed that he doesn't want a single world government in control but a multi-lateral world instead. That's partly why he is so hated.
@mster @sinbach Ukraine does seem to be important to the One World Government people. The Russians destroyed some US bioweapons labs, and Hunter Biden isn't the only offspring of a US politician to get many millions from Ukraine (along with 10% for The Big Guy).
But that doesn't mean Putin's the good guy. God likes for the bad guys to destroy each other, many OT examples including Ezekiel 38, (too bad for the soldiers and civilians on both sides) and Putin says Jerusalem and the Golan heights don't belong to Israel; maybe we are getting ready for Ezekiel 38.
@sinbach putin is undoubtedly a nut. He will also 100% and probably already has; dicovered corruption of the USA there. HOW putin is doing it is evil. But both governments are corrupt. How would you say it?
