@tanjaostman honey and freshly squeezed lemon juice is definitely a staple drink at the moment....didn't know about the other things you mentioned (Jo's on it but I haven't needed that yet)
We've got fresh orange juice in, which we're getting through
@KarlGessler thanks Karl
Mostly, today, I've been becoming, slowly, progressively worse...and feeling sorry for myself
Jo is, I guess, a day ahead of me.
Our 3 boys seem ok so far, which is good....I had to take paracetamol earlier...I'm very reluctant to take meds like that...giving in to taking some, means I have to admit I'm really not very well - couldn't ignore that headache any longer
@sinbach good man!
BerryBunch.family Light Party, 2021 – The Light shines in the darkness
‘The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it’ (NLT) – John1:5
In this year’s Light Party, you are in for a treat – No Trick – All Treat! You’ll never guess what, Andy and Jo are joined by none other than Dave the Dog. Dave is actually in the studio, for real, ‘in person’ – well ‘in dog’!
Now, just so you know, Dave the Dog does not like the dark and was happy to show up for the Light Party, knowing that it was all about light – the opposite of darkness – and that the studio would be well lit…. but there’s a problem.
Dave finds himself in darkness more than once, tune in to find out what happens and how Dave handles himself in the studio – will Dave behave himself, what will he make of the microphones and what will Dave’s take be on all these Light Party treats we have in store for you?

@sinbach I've taught my boys to stand in the gap...they've already done so once, at primary school! Standing in-between the aggressor and their victim (I love my boys I truly do 'cos they rock!!)
I don't understand how nobody flinched to do something to intervene...I wouldn't be able to stand by and watch - if I had sole care for an infant then, yes, I'd probably be more protective than active....
what a sad society we have brought upon oursselves 😞
Marriage Matters, S1, E2 – From this Day Forward
Or we could call this one "2 + 1 =5"
Andy and Jo are thinking about how 2 become one, 2 halves make a whole, 2 become one flesh, 1 + 1 = 1, or is it 2 + 1 = 5? You will just have to join Andy and Jo to find out what this maths is all about!
To put it more simply, when making a marriage commitment, you go from being just you and from this Day Forward, as they say, you are a couple, a pair, married persons.
What does this mean for us as individuals?
How will are faith, prayer life, Christian walk be affected?
What happens to me, I, Moi….?
Jo and Andy open up about some of the challenges they faced and what worked.

@Lindseyay @bethany 😂 it'd beat the preferred pronoun nonsense
do you think it would be ok if I called somebody by my preferred pronoun for them? can't see any issues with that personally 🤣
@bethany @Lindseyay perhaps we could "preferred accent" to the DingDash profile 😜
@bethany @Lindseyay fair enough then 🙂
@Lindseyay perhaps a dumb question, but did you grow up in the UK? With DingDash i never really know even what nation people are in ;-)
@Lindseyay oddly, no - I don't remember going there
I always ended up at Drayton Manor Park, which was a little closer (and cheaper) to where I grew up
I did drive a truck into Alton towers though :-) and created some [deliberate] chaos and mayhem with a crane
@Lindseyay i got the name of the ride wrong - it was called the Missile
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_American_Adventure_Theme_Park
it was a good fun place, soon to be homes instead it seems
@Lindseyay I'm struggling to remember...it closed down as an adventure park many years ago...I'm thinking east of Stoke on Trent (north Midlands).
@Lindseyay awesome
sadly, i lost my ability to do anything like that many years ago.
there was a theme park (now gone) in the UK, and one ride was simply called "the rocket"
they pulled you backwards until you were vertical, about 100 foot in the air then let you go...gravity did the rest, and then you got to the entire ride again only backwards
i've never been so ill.....................and never been able to do it since
@KarlGessler this is ace! and very inspiring - must this pass along to Dave the Dog's handlers
@tanjaostman the dumb thing is that the extremism & conspiracy theories that FB and Insta etc don't want, were created by the catalyst of their own making - the irony is that those who use fear for their own narrative, created the greater distrust, and they did it all by themselves and haven nobody else to [truly] blame
if they'd let people simply have a moan and a whinge (pretty sure that isn't just a British thing!) more people, I believe, would have happily got their vaccines, & boosters
when you seek to silence 1 perspective, you always force a more extreme outcome somewhere else, & it's always more explosive! (hope this translates well...i'm not even sure it's good English 😂 )
the devil always over extends himself - it is his nature, and how we can always, in the end at least, spot the work of the enemy (i'm not suggesting the scientists &vaccine are inherently evil) - i'm glad they've made a vaccine - truly - i just don't want it myself
