I’ve been visiting a 90 year old lady that lives near me. When I first met her she was new to the area and very lonely. She’s originally from Spain and raised as Catholic. She has a wonderful strong Spanish accent. She wanted things to read so I brought her the Heavenly Man and a few other Missionary autobiographies. She read them and seemed impressed by them. She did say she didn’t believe in the inerrancy of the Bible so I brought her one on that but she hasn’t read it. Finally yesterday I asked what she thought of the books I’ve given her and she said she didn’t believe they were true. She thinks the authors didn’t tell the truth about their lives. We talked some and I found that she thinks that my relationship with God is a mistake of belief if that makes sense! From what I understand she thinks you can’t have a personal relationship with God.Her name is Carmen I’d appreciate if you would pray for her.

Dear Brothers and Sisters of Ding Dash, I have an urgent prayer request for a dear friend of mine. His name is Alfonso and he is a believer. A few years ago he had a disease similar to leukemia, I don't remember the name of the disease, and, after a year and a half, thank God, it was in remission. This morning this dear friend of mine called to tell me that he is very sick again and is having blood transfusions again.

I ask you to pray for a complete healing. I ask you to also pray that he may feel the peace of God in his heart at this difficult time.

How is it possible they can keep him in jail without any real reason? I know these things happen in countries like China etc with persecution of Christians, but in America..?

Heard a great message from Francis Chan this morning about the world's belief in subjective truth.

"I think one of the most destructive practices of this generation is you value your own thoughts way too much, when God says "My thoughts are not the same as yours."
And yet, you want to look inside and tell everyone 'your' truth - what you've been thinking and what you've been feeling rather than opening up the word of God and saying "these truths are way beyond mine. This is truth."

We had such a fascinating time at a missions archive in Cambridge (UK) this week, filming our new series - Chasing Legacy. Such special stories of men and women who gave their lives to the mission field for the gospel.

There is aggression and hate, the loss of innocent civilians, no peace in the people’s hearts, and no true belief.
