But Im thinking, is it fair to question the faith of an individual member of the Catholic Church, without knowing if she agrees about these things with the Pope? I would like to ask and talk to herself first before throwing the stone. I was a member of the Lutheran Church when I became a believer and it has also many unbiblical things and liberal leaders who are far away from knowing the truth. I didn't agree with them although I was a member of it. But it took me years to finally realize I need to get out of the system, but this didn't happen over a night. And this is how God is and how he works with us: he gives us time to grow and become more mature. I'm not saying we shouldn't speak the truth, but there's differences in how to speak out the truth and also what our position is when we speak. Jesus was full of "grace and truth". So should also we be.

That's good, but it's not enough. I pray from my heart that you will come to understand what it means that "The letter killeth, but the Spirit giveth life". 2. Cor. 3:6.

@Knittinggrace We avoid confrontation. We share the Gospel, pray and mentor new disciples. Release them to expand the Kingdom by sharing their stories, heal the sick and baptize those who believe.

The youngsters who disturbed the meeting misbehaved with the women. According to the law they should have filed a complaint against the attackers to the authorities.
They should not break the law.
Protecting your own and counter attacking are two different aspects.
Jesus didn't allow Peter to use his 'licensed gun' at the Garden before He was arrested.
1st century believers suffered confiscation of their property gladly.
Love your enemies is the command (not kill).
We encourage believers to Pray in all situations. Pray for miraculous protection, Divine intervention and covering under the blood of Jesus.

@Susan I've read the book Pilgrims progress years ago and there were many good insights on the Christian walk. I tried to watch the movie you recommended, but my English isn't good enough to follow it properly. Maybe I'll just take and read the book again! ☺
@zephan yes, we are first and foremost saved from our sins, not from hell (that's just the result of it when we perserve to the end).

@MaryMamuzich thank you so much for your prayers! They were sooo timely! Nobody knew this, but just yesterday, my wife had to start using crutches to walk. Arthritis in her knees is now so bad that she can't walk without them. She has tried every drug, natural remedy, exercise, therapy, shoe, and even had minor surgery - but all to no avail. it looks like she will need to have both knees completely replaced.
And my youngest son....he is making the incredibly difficult decision of whether to go into military intelligence or a special warfare unit. he has already been selected by both, so now he has to choose. you have NO idea how much your prayers mean to us. thank you for standing in the trenches for our family.
