Lost in translation part 2. (I don’t understand Chinese, but I understand that the English translation is not really proper).

@sinbach wow! I have watched the series as well - really family-friendly. But great that you were sensitive to what was going on in the boys' minds and were able to talk about it and pray!

@sinbach poor little boy! I didn't watch much on TV at that age. You know, Finland in the 80s. 😂 We had like only two channels, a small black and white TV, strict religious parents... But in my teens I watched things that scared me... don't remember exactly what movies. As a child we lived in a small town that you could easily go around by bike. All of my closest neighbors were boys, so we were biking a lot, and following the sounds of sirens. I saw a house burning down and it was really scary, and I had terrible nightmares. My parents and I didn't talk about feelings, so they didn't comfort me. I also saw a couple of traumatic traffic accidents with hurt people. It was my own choice to chase for the scary things...

@OneofTen I enjoyed it too. He is a real Dr.... PhD in theology.

Suddenly it got warm - around 22°C today (tomorrow 15°C). Last time it was snowing (a little) was 6 d ago. I love this time of the year in Finland! The birds are singing intensely and nature is just bursting. We almost have midnight sun already. The picture of the beach and from the greenhouse are taken between 8 and 9 PM!

@LukoseGeorge @sinbach Ok, thanks! But a little funny anyway. 😉 It wouldn't surprise me if someone would write something similar. I own a book, "Broken English", with hilarious examples of bad translations from around the world, including my country.

@bethany @sinbach I just listened to it, and it's really great, (what both of them say)! So sharp, clarifying, and balanced (in a true Christian way, not what some consider "balanced"). Every Christian should listen to it!!

Dingdash office 2021, like Facebook office 2004? 😉 I must say I prefer the 2004 version (I joined FB in 2007), compared to the creepy business it is today.

A little (yellowish) snow left of the winter - in the slope a was skiing a couple of months ago. Soon nature is really green. Springtime came late this year.

@Cherishingsparrows2020 thanks for sharing your joys and painful experiences! ❤ Mother's day can be hard for so many people.

@MaryMamuzich @sinbach yes she is pretty! She is a Finn from Sweden. I am a Swedish speaking Finn. Same same but different. 😀

@MaryMamuzich beautiful mountains! This area where I live is really flat and is jokingly called Pampas. Your temperatures are very fluctuating... even worse than here. Today we have 12°C. It's been unusually cold this spring in all of our country and in Sweden as well.

@sinbach You write so beautifully about your wife! ❤ I think you are a great father and husband as well.

My 39 year old daughter is struggling with covid in a far away city. Will you please pray for her? Her name is Kelly. Thank you.
