@bethany I didn't get much sleep. Mostly because people were snoring, and I am easily disturbed - and because we were taking turns filling the iron stove with fire woods every 45 min, and the stove door was making noise, and people were talking and using their torches. But I didn't lose sleep because I was freezing, quite the opposite. It might have been at least 20 degrees C. Outside it was 3 degrees Celsius, but I wore layers of clothing. This was quite an experience!
Good morning! Breakfast outdoors made on the campfire is wonderful. And the birds are singing in November! I didn’t sleep much (read my last post), but I feel refreshed after breathing fresh air all night.
I've been trying to fall asleep for 3 hrs in a sleeping bag in the middle of a dark forest together with ten other persons in a tent. It's close to zero degrees celsius outside, but we have a stove with a chimney in the tent, so it's warm. This might sound a little crazy, but in my age living a middle class life I don't want to get too comfortable, so I need to challenge myself. My grandparents were fighting the mighty Soviet army in The Winter War during WW2, in record cold winter with -40°C, to protect the independence of Finland. There are not many hardships that can be compared to that.

@MaryMamuzich the headache is shocking. My latest one lasted nearly 24 hours, with no let up, and pain killers did nothing
I hadn't heard about DuckDuckGo before @sinbach wrote about it on the BTJ website. Thanks for the tip! Now I use it as my default search engine and browser.
@Berrybunchfamily I pray that you will get good friends where you live (or going to move)! It's great to have friends on social media, but we all need to meet others in person as well!

@Berrybunchfamily I am so sorry that you have to go through this! And I suppose you don't have anybody outside of the family helping you with houskeeping. I'm glad that you trusted me and bought tea tree oil! I have used it for years. I've got a book in Swe about TTO. It says that those who were growing TTO during WW2 didn't have to do military service, because it was regarded even more important to have enough TTO. The armies used it to treat wounded soldiers. It was used until the 1940s, when it was replaced with antibiotics. (But antibiotics kill only bacteria, not viruses). TTO kills both viruses, bacteria and fungus. You can use a diffuser (that is spreading mist in the room) for essential oils, and a nebulizer (that you put to your mouth) for the colloidal silver.

I don't know if this is correct... just found it in the feed. Finnish used to be the most common second language in Sweden until recently, but now it's Arabic. Interesting indeed that Polish is the second most common language in Great Britain!

@sinbach interesting - I hadn't heard the story behind! Skagenröra is delicious! I haven't tried to make it myself, suppose it's not extremely difficult... but I am not a person who spends much time in the kitchen experimenting with new dishes, even if I love food. I prefer other things.
@sinbach wow! Looks delicious! I suppose nobody who's not Scandinavian knows what Skagenröra is...? 😀 So you are back in Sweden? Hope you will get snow, if you are in Bruksvallarna! I so much miss the white landscape we experienced last weekend in Luleå and Piteå! It's just dark and grey here now, as the leaves have fallen off and the days are so short.

Grateful for the prayers. Steven a little ill, Nathan ok, Peter is cold and has a mild headache.
Jo and I barely able to leave the bed (I really don't like hanging around in a bed!). Pain killers finally reducing my headache. We're exhausted, and we can't think straight.
On the plus side I woke up today without the odd sensation in my lungs that I've had for the past few days....can't describe ii verh well...perhaps like a cold pain? That's now gone, thankfully!
25th wedding anniversary plans now killed off, which is the least of our issues.

I would like to request prayer for a situation concerning a child who was removed from her home, due to abuse. She is now living with a believing family, but it is looking like (aside from a miracle) she will soon be returned to her abuser. With God, nothing is impossible. Children are precious to Him. Thank you for your prayers.
