@TakeN love how this man has grown over the years, from coming to faith when he was 4, to the man of God he has become

And I love the love that our boys have for each other, as brothers

A few photos of @TakeN from over the years

That one in the shop, was our own shop - back in the day

My beautiful wife and I 🙂

25 years married later this year, and more in love than we were back in the mid 90s when God brought this godly, amazing, Holy Spirit filled, passionate women of God who brings the Proverbs 31 wife to real life 🙂

Cards as individual as their creators.

We've been home-making cards for each other as far back as I can remember:-)

My new fountain pen is especially exciting - German engineering, and my first fountain pen for more than 3 decades!

My latest post (instead of my usual, near daily Andy B 2 minute Video)

berrybunch.family/tired-sleepy

I usually do an Andy B 2 minute video, most days. They are my way of making sense of some of the things I've seen or faced.

Every day things happen that shape us!

Sometimes those ‘things’ might nudge us a little in a direction we may have wanted to go. Sometimes, they can define us.

I love sharing these stories, and I also love sharing what other friends are doing for God’s Kingdom.

One of those friends is a man called @KarlGessler. You can find out more about him at his website – www.karlgessler.com/ and their podcast – www.karlgessler.com/thegospelforplaneteartpodcast

So, go check out their podcast – The Faith of the Fathers! (Their podcast used to be called “The Gospel for Planet Earth”).

Since it's a whole degree cooler today (and a teeny bit overcast) I'm out for a cycle on the mountain bike.

I'm currently cooling in some shade with plenty of water before the homeward leg...and a shower....and lots more water

Remembering that I used to work 12 hours a day, in hotter conditions than this, with no cool water, and while wearing multiple layers of non breathable clothing, topped off with steel toe cap boots (a great heat sync) and, all, while standing on top of a truck engine revving wearing a solid plastic hat...I figured I could leisurely cycle in these conditions too

Found a lovely, shaded spot in a forest, with some tank traps as chairs. In a pretty blissful place, actually :-)

Onwards

I wanted to pray more effectively, and more specifically, for the persecuted church. And Nigeria has been on my mind for a while now.

I highly recommend @sinbach 's podcast with @Olamide - backtojerusalem.com/podcast/ep

It is a really helpful call to action!

And next week in Prayer 2:62 we're gonna have a focus on praying for Nigeria, so I asked Olly D for a video clip we could use, and he sent me the video I've used here.

If nothing else, Olly makes it super simple what, why and how to pray and that's a priceless gift in, and of, itself!

such a cute bird , and an awesome quiff; no morning hair problems with that thing sticking out the top of it's head!

So what mountains can we pray into in your life?

And where we we can thank God together about what He has done in your life, and the lives of those you know.

We’ll have Peter’s Daily Prayer Vlog.

We’ll have Jo Jo and Peter’s weekly Family Prayers.

And much more!

I was remembering a home we lived in a few years ago. Because it was on a mountain, and because it was our favourite place to live – ever.

From the front window of that house you could easily see a good chunk of the mountain, and we were always blown away by what we saw, the magnificence of nature, changing vistas, circling birds of prey…

Busy day ahead? Make sure you stop before you start, so you'll be able to finish!

...or...

Busy day [you think you have planned] ahead? Make sure you stop [to pray and bow before the giver of all we'll need] before you start [what He has planned for you] so you'll be able to finish [and be at peace with what you've accomplished walking in God's strength, and working at His pace]
