Morning my lovely DingDash family. I pray the Son shines on you all as the sun shines on me.

With a tweak to Jo's work calendar, Saturdays are now a weekday for us.

Today I have quite a bit of energy, coupled with drive, determination & inspiration.

2nd load of washing in the machine. Previous load drying on the line with used towels.

Bins all emptied. Kitchen bin scrubbed clean. Kitchen hob, surfaces and sink disenfected and cleaned.

Patreon 'About Us' page updated to mirror updated front page of our website; new 'goal' added (still getting my head around the tiers and goals that patreon is based around)

YouTube header image updated, to reflect updated front page of our website. 'About Us' page updated too.

Little Blessings Online is uploaded and scheduled to go live from Monday, with Song Time, Story Time with Dave the Dog & Art Time (3 X wordpress posts, 1 X Instagram TV post, 3 X Facebook posts, 3 X YouTube Posts)

It isn't even 11 o'clock yet!!

@mensajero this isn't such a popular image of the technological revolution to save the planet..........somebody always has to pay, don't they 😞

@tanjaostman got it (i think) - I just needed to change the "," to a "." on my map app ;-)

At my in-laws' summer cottage. Swimming and Finnish sauna. Most Finns love this! Pictures taken at 9.30 pm and it will be light all night! It's nice in the evening but not so nice when it's hard to fall asleep or you wake up at 4 am.

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:13

Getting ready to start filming can take quite a bit of patience. Dave the Dog was getting a bit bored today.............

You can catch all of Dave the Dog's Story Times (where he helps Jo Jo tell a story) on our website, or on our YouTube Channel, and look for Playlists - Story Times

Faith is something we do.

I believe I should get more exercise, but often fail to do so.

Paul clarifies this understanding of faith when he writes: “whatsoever is not of faith is sin.” (Romans 14:23). We expect him to say “whatsoever is not of faith is unbelief.” But for Paul the opposite of faith is sin because his understanding of faith includes obedience. Clearly, the opposite of obedience is sin. —Ken Bailey (Jesus Through Middle Eastern Eyes)

Faith is something we do.

@KarlGessler thanks Karl

God introduced me to a Christian charity (they do equine therapy too) and they offered us use of their building for Christian home ed families to meet up

Currently on my own (other than lots of military vehicles and artillery in the background) while they're out for a walk in the correct side if the red flags!!! (These mark live firing firing areas)...some truly valuable silence in a very peaceful place for me though :-) after a very trying and full week!

Still latest Endurance episode is one we're more lroudvof than other stuff we've done, and we're tackling modesty, staying pure and a sexualised culture.... SO many technical issues nearly stopped this one being made........

@Berrybunchfamily My parents started home Ed when they only knew of one other family doing it. :) May the Lord bless your meeting

@bruster75 finally had some time to read this article to do it justice!

It's been a good read too and worth waiting to devote some to reading, with some great points to challenge what we think about what we believe, how we believe them and how that affects who we are becoming.

Love that Spurgeon quote too - so true!!

We so often don't check what we're hearing. As a preacher I've often encouraged people to check what is being said by me: mistakes happen with what you say, deliberately or not (often guilty of that latter one)...so checking is always worthwhile and healthy.

Some of my misspoken words have led to great conversations though, when people did ask 'what does that mean?' or (due to my accent when getting excited) 'i didn't quite hear what you said.....' and so on

As a children's minister the challenge to speak to people who, by their very age and nature, are intrinsically trusting, is a greater challenge again.

Thanks for sharing!

Off for the first official meeting of a home ed group I launched a month ago....just one other family confirmed for this morning (only found out we actually had the venue on Monday!)
