An addition: my son (the shorter boy) and his cousin in two of the pictures.

@Cherishingsparrows2020 brilliant news. Your daughter has been ever on my mind - and your family - for days now!!!

Good to read this development.

@Olamide 2nd mug of tea.......nope, still too deep for me today!

@DevotionalTreasures wondering if you've come across this (for your podcasts) webcaptioner.com/captioner/

with a decent mic, nice and close, it's really good...MS Word does the same, for free (if you pay for it ie Office 365)

@DevotionalTreasures looking forward to this after I've finished transcribing our latest episode of Endurance, ready for uploading...........

Andy loves the kitchen! And he was inspired, a while ago, about how saucepans can teach us much about pressure in our lives, and letting that pressure go with God.

Today, he has a saucepan and a colander…both are great at straining, but with each the BerryBunch either lose rice – if they’re a bit too energetic pouring the wet rice in, or slipping the saucepan lid – and losing all the veg.

Even with a strainer, they are only as good as the size of the hole and the size of what you’re trying to strain through!

In life, there will always be things we’re trying to add in or take out, and we use filters and strainers every day to do that.

We are on our way to the hospital for our daughter's surgery. May God be praised and glorified!

@KarlGessler i read about a preacher (current!) who was criticised each week by his congregation - the following are what I remember of comments that came on the same day about the same sermon (can't remember where I read this now...perhaps 'Church Leaders' website?)

- sermon was far too long / sermon was far too short
- didn't use KJV / didn't use NIV
- too many anecdotes / not enough anecdotes
- you were too happy / you were too sad
- too many quotes of scripture / not enough quotes of scripture

there were MANY more

all in all, since we can never please everyone, there is no point expending all our efforts trying to please anyone...

...just doing, as faithfully, and as prayerfully as we can - what God is asking us to do 🙂

there will always be critics...let us work so that God aint one of them ;-)

A day in which you decide to spend time with Jesus, is a day well spent. To live a life well lived, you have to decide it every day.

The spaces between the leaves, is the tunnel where the sun brings warm to those who need it. Maybe there are some holes in your heart, but His light will shine through, and your heart will be whole again. And His light will shine to warm many heart with His love. Our weakness, the best stage for His power. Don't be afraid, He sees in what you are becoming.
