And it was going so well - exploring somewhere completely new, and some beautiful weather to boot
Two puncture repairs later and I had to resort to putting my Kevlar puncture prevention strip underneath the inner tube, against the wheel....my newly fitted rear wheel was missing the protective strip that sits against the wheel, and my inner tube now has regularly spaced holes from the recesses for the spokes...
Oh well, I've got the wheel strip from my last wheel and a spare inner tube
Still... frustrated I made such a dumb mistake! And that I had to cut short my ride, just to crawl home.

@tanjaostman You echo our thoughts. I've no issue with the vaccine (or vaccines in general)...but we don't want it, exactly because of those risks
My personal issue is that of forcing people, otherwise they won't have a job, or be allowed in a shop etc
That's just plain wrong to me!

So tomorrow is a big deal here in France. The vaccine pass has been in place since July 21st for larger venues like museums. But now its required to have the pass (QR code on your phone) to be able to go to restaurants, cafe's, and small venues as well. Grocery stores are exempt at this point. There are protests, of course. Tuesday, the leadership of the cafe/church will have a meeting to discuss whether to close or comply. There is a lot of confusion and fear about how to even implement a compliance, should they choose that option.

It they accept tis madness then my hypothetical claim is just as valid....although we're both men, both English, both love the UK, and both want to see this nation do well
