Andy B finally got his bike working, when he then had to fit a replacement rear wheel.
All good?
Well no! Because he forgot to add a small strip of plastic that protects the inner tube from the holes in the wheel, that allow the spokes to connect to the central point of the wheel.
And, just like in life, we can sometimes be too eager to get to the finish line, rather than simply work through what is in front of us................................

This Sunday we want to thank God for preparations that He has made in Afghanistan.
Last year our Afghan partners told us that their electronic devices were being checked for Bible apps. BTJ hackers began working together on a solution for them and we were able to launch Operation Black Trumpet in Afghanistan.
Today the Taliban, in an event that few saw coming, is said to be going door-to-door looking at people's phones searching for Bible apps. If they have launched Operation Black Trumpet on their device, the Taliban would not be able to find the Bible on their phone. Not many Afghan Christians know about it, but it is spreading through the underground church.

Filming for Dave the Dog today...and our first proper go at at external filming......cooked breakfast it is then :-) to get us going, using the culinary skills of number 1 son.
And after my personal response to the current global situation, and my Andy B plus video that I out out yesterday evening, I slept for 9 hours last night - the first time in a couple of weeks... uninterrupted, peaceful, nourishing sleep
Only now I can see the bags under my eyes.....a few more sleeps like last night would be great! A shave didn't help as much as I hoped it might ;-)
I've seen a very wide range of people and beliefs and interests. I'd say far more diverse than my Facebook, YouTube or Instagram accounts
But the big difference is that we can share those views without censorship.
Could it be that you're used to seeing posts that dont have any of those topics you raised elsewhere, highlighting the ones you are seeing here
I've seen no posts, for example, questioning the efficacy of the vaccines except on Dingdash, because they get deleted elsewhere.
Debate is a great protector of freedom of speech and that is something DingDash makes possible 🙂

Afghanistan; vaccination passports; President Biden; forced covid vaccinations for under 12s in Finland; global temperature fluctuations being used for political control and financial gain; China and Taiwan; a forced Home Education register in the UK – there is much to see around us that can easily cause us anxiety and worry.
But, as Christians what is God calling us to do?
What should our response be to these things that are currently shaking the very foundations of humanity?

This scripture was brought to mind as I awakened this morning. May your heart take courage.

Forcing parents to sign up to a mandatory register (like sex offenders currently so in the UK) so the government can then force access to your home to inspect you, your family and your children, using non trained, non skilled government staff, with no accountability deliberately built in so you can't complain at anything they do to your or your children - all in order to determine if you're good enough to educate your children at home, using standards that home educating families would never use
The usual excuse for it? Safeguarding
despite there being lots of evidence that it will cause harm to children, not help them
It is a disgusting attack on freedom of speech and democracy
Especially when the vast majority of home ed parents do so because state education failed their child...only to be inspected based on state education standards
It is sickening 😠
10 years ago they tried, and failed...I don't see it failing this time
