But I will sing of Your strength, in the morning I will sing of Your love;
for You are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. Psalm 59:16

Little Blessings Online, Season 5, Episode 3, Daniel and a Dream
(and yes, more Dave the Dog!)

JoJo and Andy B talk about dreams, good dreams, not so good dreams and strange dreams and JoJo has to call Andy B back to earth as he daydreams about food!

Story Time with Dave the Dog

This time Daniel needs to figure out what the King dreamed and what that dream meant, or he will be in big trouble; like Dave says, poor Daniel will have a serious ‘Time out’!

What will Dave the Dog make of the King’s strange dream and are Dave’s dreams stranger then the King’s?

Art Time

For art time, JoJo encourages us to make a dreamy drawing. It’s quick and simple art time this week, so you might want to play the clip again as it was so quick and just to make sure you were not dreaming! [READ MORE]

Endurance, Series 3, Episode 6, Training With Others

Endurance is your weekly spiritual workout, whether you think of yourself as a beginner, an intermediate, or advanced!
Explore with us as we talk about ‘Training with Others’.

As usual, we have with Andy B and with Steven and Nathan.

Go Deeper with Andy B, as he digs deeper into the subject of training with others.

He talks about the impact that encouragement has on athletes in sports events.

He relates an occasion when he was cycling, and Steven came alongside him while running, and the influence their individual efforts had on one another.

He also expands the wisdom in Ecclesiastes, concerning the strength two people have together as opposed to one person on their own, because different strengths and weaknesses complement one another in different ways.

We had sooo much going on in our lives lately that we've barely had time for each other. But today, we could just relax, and go for a nice walk, all 3 of us 😍

In response to my letter urging me to consider going back to trucking [for a short time!] I've made 3 enquiries to 3 companies all currently recruiting drivers....and have met nothing but a wall of silence, so far.

Crisis? What crisis!

If I've got nothing back by the end of next week I'll be contacting the Lord (is a woman a Lord? Or a Lady?) who sent the letter and asking why they wasted the price of all those 1,000,000 stamps since a highly prized professional, with 15 years plus experience, and a clean licence, actually isn't all that valued or wanted!?! Also that I'm not at all surprised by what I've so far discovered and encountered...

Since this was a response to a crisis thing on my part, and since I've been quite happily not employed for some time, I have plenty of time on my side ;-)

So having the vaccine is supposed to be personal, informed, choice?

I’m saying this as a registered nurse, I know the pros and cons of the vaccine. I’m not even having a vaccine pros and cons debate. BUT I’m tired of social media using their ‘powers of persuasion’ to dictate the information content we’re ‘allowed’ to be fed. How can informed choice/consent be given if the information is biased??

Andy B 2 Minute Video, Mud, Bicycles and the Cycle of Life, S4, E16

When we go cycling, things can stick to our tyres. If you go mountain biking, you might end up with plenty of mud liberally applied to your bike. And if you’re really unfortunate, you’ll end up with a clay/grass mix that will stick to the outside of your tyre, and weight your bike down enough that you struggle up hills you can normally cycle up, without much effort or thought.

Well this is exactly what happened to Jo, and her bike, when we were out Mountain Biking one day. [READ MORE]

Wow. 2 hours out and about and finally found some fuel. Filled up for Jo, so she can keep getting to work since public transport is no use for her due to when and where she works.

Tension out there was palpable. But most people were clearly just filling their cars to get to work, and just grateful to get some

Except the guy in front....really!?!?!? Cos you needed that extra £10 in your range rover....those are the people causing a fuel crisis, buying fuel they clearly don't need...nobody ever puts £10 in a shiny range rover. That's what happened in 2000, when people bought fuel they didn't, 'cos you know just in case....'

It's the grief and selfishness of people that gets to me

And the hyper agrrssive guy venting at me that he was a key worker and needs fuel .. while doing so while parking up, less than 50 yards from a fuel station, with fuel, where he could buy fuel...if he needs it, go buy some...they've got plenty right now

Hiya DingDash family, how's y'all today?

I'm off to hunt for some diesel soon, before Jo goes to work later this afternoon - our nearest garage ran out of diesel again before I could get there yesterday...

In recent days I have had a reader from Saudi Arabia reading my devotionals, which is rare and a total privilege to spiritually support them. I know that being a Christian in Saudi Arabia is dangerous; please join with me in praying for this individual brother/sister.

Andy B 2 Minute Video, Wells, Digging and Jesus, S4, E15

When a well runs out of water, it doesn’t necessarily mean that there is no water left – just that the water table may have dropped, so our well runs out of water. When we dig down a bit further, we find that water again, and our fill will be filled with water once more.

And in our relationship, and walk, as disciples of Jesus Christ, we can often feel as though God has moved away from us. [READ MORE]

"16% of petrol stations now have fuel" (rather than the 10% figure over last weekend). that's a direct quote from the UK Government (well the first part is - the bit in brackets is the rest of the equation)

or, 74% of petrol stations in the UK currently have insufficient, or no, fuel - like our local one, that is dry of fuel again

The UK is in an unusually difficult situation regarding fuel supplies. and [no] it won't get better overnight; [yes] it is affecting many people and [no] it won't simply go away just because it will [eventually] return to normal

And, unlike the BBC - who love inciting a panic - I do not believe that tanker drivers in military uniforms will cause widespread panic - actually I suspect they'll receive a round of applause wherever they turn up.

And I also like the truth - all of the truth, because I'm a big boy and can make my own mind up correctly when presented with the facts.

Now for the British thing, I'm off for a cup of tea to sort the world out
