Crafty Christmas 2021
For the Berry Bunch Crafty Christmas this year, JoJo and Andy B talk about the Christmas Story and encourage us to make the Nativity scene using toilet rolls. There’s method in their madness as Andy reveals that the toilet roll characters in the Nativity will be something of a launch of Toilet Roll Tales for Little Blessings Online in the New Year!
JoJo and Andy introduce the main characters in the Christmas story, including angels, Mary, Joseph, Shepherds, animals, wise men and of course the most important person -Jesus as a baby.
You may need to check the bible for yourself for a more, full, and accurate account of the birth of Christ, but you’ll get the gist of it with JoJo and Andy B!
Why not make your very own Toilet Roll Nativity scene with all the key characters and some animals thrown in. You could use real straw or yellow paper and finish by decorating with lights, after all – Jesus is the light of the world!
Christmas Special Editions, 2021
Much like the story of Mary and Joseph, our best laid plans don't always go the way me might have hoped.
Mary, I would imagine, would quite possibly have preferred a fully staffed hospital with midwife support, over a stable possibly stuffed full with smelly animals, and her nervous husband doing what was needed.
And, as a family, we would have preferred not to have lost most of November and December to illness, hospital stays and plenty of other life related stress events that managed to cram themselves into an insanely tiny amount of time!
But, it is what it is!

Crafty Christmas 2021, Blooper, Audio Test
We hadn't been able to film for nearly 2 months, so thought we'd test the audio so our middle son could sort everything out after such a long break.
But being told to just talk normally for a while, usually doesn't work out as he hopes it will.
So we had some fun!
The BerryBunch
Did some baking today 😊 Another first, since October.
One for a colleague of Jo's who took on a bunch of Jo's work so she could have less t so, due to me being ill
Managed to hand it to her this evening, when I dropped off Jo at work.
Baked a second one at the same time for us. Gonna ice that one shortly for the morning tea and cake moment we can now have 🙂
An Iranian Christian working with BTJ had 1,000 Bibles in his home to give to other believers. The Bibles were not hidden.
The police busted into his home looking for the Bibles. They looked at them, but couldn't see them!!!
How is that possible?

Our Father in Heaven is not a scorekeeper, judging us by our failures vs. our successes. God, the father is goal-oriented. What matters is who we become, not what we have done.
The things we do shape who we become, but the way we respond to the conviction of the Holy Spirit, reshapes us into the image God intends. It doesn’t matter what crooked forms we took in the past.
What matters is our willingness to be remolded.
@Berrybunchfamily @tanjaostman I totally agree!! Hot chocolate sounds good! Enjoy!!
Are we filtering out impurities from our lives each day?

i just read a Facebook post from "UK Government"
ok, yes it was about a mass vaccination event at Wembley Stadium, so some clever person said 'help give covid the boot' in reference to Wembley
but, the vaccine can't be booted away
it can't stop transmission or slow or reduce spreading it
it can't stop you dying
however, it "may" help prevent you suffering badly or for less time, but plenty of people still, sadly, die from covid, even with jabs
but it won't stop you spreading or catching or suffering from covid. and it won't get rid of covid
i'm not anti-vax. i'm so definitely not against medical help (i'm on 3 daily meds to keep me alive)
but i'm utterly fed up of the polarising lies about what the vaccine will do
i'd say this on facebook, but, honestly, why bother
i've not posted like this before. but i truly hate misinformation - where was the fact check warning on that post?!?
grr
i'm off for a hot chocolate
Andy B
this thought just popped into my head
when I was walking up a steep hill one day, someone told me to stop looking up. because it can be quite psychologically demotivating to see how much further you have to go
and i'm sure that is a very sensible thing while walking up a hill
but there are two issues with that as a Christian
if we look at our feet, we won't know where we're going.
or, to put that one another way - and far more importantly - we won't see WHO we're going towards
because Christianity isn't just a journey to a destination
it's a journey to a person; to a 'Him'
also, if we only ever look down at our feet, we won't be enjoying the journey we are on
just a mini thought that popped into my head which i thought i'd share with my DingDash family
let's look up to our guide, who already know the twists and turns of the journey ahead
He will guard the feet of His saints,
But the wicked shall be silent in darkness.
“For by strength no man shall prevail.
The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken in pieces;
From heaven He will thunder against them.
The Lord will judge the ends of the earth.
“He will give strength to His king, And exalt the horn of His anointed.”
I Samuel 2:9-10 NKJV
