Whilst not completed, we've done the kitchen and lounge, so we can cook, and eat/relax
Bedrooms are mostly sorted, but we'll finish off Peter's today
We've yet to start on the studio/home ed room or study
Today we're off to find some food, and some logs (heating the lounge and dining room, is only really doable via the double sided log burner...but we have no logs)
Please pray for a friend of mine (middle aged) with covid! He's Christian and has asked for prayer. High fever for almost a week. He has taken Ivermectin, Zink, vit D etc. He's not vaccinated (if it matters, since they are so ineffective). He is going to check his lungs at the hospital today. I have no idea what protocol they use for covid, if it helps or if it only boils down to a person's own immunity.
back at the new home now. arrived around 2am, after leaving here a little before 10 am yesterday! bit of a long day, but it is done
vans returned, keys handed back, old house shut down
new house is piles of boxes
time for a cup of tea and then our beds!!!
thanks for the prayers from around the world - they were very much welcomed and answered, because we haven't had a single hitch stop us - God is good!!!! SO very GOOOOD

Thanks so much. Knowing that there are brothers and sisters who pray for us is of great encouragement and, beyond that, we believe that God answers the prayers of his children. God bless you.
Moving day went well today, despite some fears I struggled to shake off
Left the old house at 0945, and drive to the new house, arriving around 1715
We unpacked both vans by 2130, and had a simple dinner from some tins and packets, that was very welcome
All lur beds are made. It's 0100 in the morning and wet off to our bed now.
Tomorrow we return the vans and drive back to our new home...a 12 hour day, almost entirely driving.
Even managed to get the heating working - the controller unit is complex!! But downstairs is now warmer than our fridge, so that's good!
Thanks for your prayers

2 vans at home and ready to load.
it's freezing cold here today - we're about to have a cooked breakfast before loading the vans throughout today
tomorrow we drive to our new home - anything up to around a 6 hour journey, and unload them
on Saturday we return the vans and drive back to our new home - around a 11-12 hour day
our car engine started playing up yesterday, but Jo made it to her last day of work and back, and we made it to the van hire place this morning.
we need another 500 miles or so out of the car, as we have no money for repairs (we suspect the last two, original, fuel injectors) and will need to find a garage once we've arrived at the new house. even if we had the money, garages are booking many days into the future anyway
plenty to pray for, and into, over the next 72 hours or so!!
we're certain God hasn't brought us this far to fall at the final hurdle, so we're holding to hope and Jesus!!

and we're back to this evil! why does this woman have an obsession of personally hunting down and identifying every child in the country?
she needs psychological help!
@tanjaostman It's troubling that they are manipulating data. My prayer is that the facts will soon be known to the public and that those responsible for these injustices will be held accountable.
Are there any budding devotional writers out there?

"Red sky at night, shepherd's delight.
Red sky in the morning, shepherds take warning."
I can't actually remember what the weather was like on the day that I took this photo, but if the rhyme is accurate, then it can't have been fair.
Anyway, the photograph below is of an incredible sunrise I witnessed a short while ago. For a brief moment (literally just a few minutes!), prior to the sun's appearance, the clouds above it suddenly exploded with magnificent texture and colour, lit up vibrantly in rich orange-pink.
Dave the Dogs travel crate is sorted and we're just 6 days from the most demanding move we've ever had...kind of feeling prepared, and our current house certainly isn't feeling like home anymore
Missing filming and editing, and very much looking for to getting that back into our daily routine sometime next month!
A slightly restful weekend, having made much good progress with oacking so far....Jo's last Saturday at work - which I think we're most excited about right now

PS look really carefully and you can see part of the cover for a book I've been working on for a while...that's nearly ready.......
“Who is this?” they said to each other. “Even the wind and the sea do what He says!” (Mark 4:41).
Do we know this Jesus? Does this storm-calming Jesus disappear when we close our Bibles?
At times, I think I expect much more from my wife than I do from Jesus. But my wife can’t command storms and seas....
We expect far too little from Jesus.
We need to reconcile our creeds with our attitudes, decisions, and general approach to life.
A Jesus of theory or story hour is a sentimental comfort. The real Jesus commands the wind and seas and is a force to be reckoned with.
On this day, 10 yrs ago, we packed and moved within a day!
we literally started packing in the morning & finished by the evening. An environmental health officer stated we had no contract due to raw sewage coming through the kitchen ceiling. The landlord had served time for attempted murder so had police support too to protect us.
That that was first of 3 house moves within 2 1/2 years, all aided (and/or urged) by environmental health officers and the police - due to the worst of bad landlords that we'd managed to end up with!
We move in 8 days time, but from a nice Home, with plenty of time - to a new life, and new job for Jo, to a totally new area of the country
Oh yeah, and Jo was pregnant and we'd had to rush to a local hospital due to her falling seriously ill, suddenly - to discover her symptoms was caused by our lovely little Peter making his presence known (he was the size of a grain of cous cous) :-) That's one way of discovering a precious pregnancy.
