My husband is planning to go out in our city to share Jesus tomorrow morning (6:30 AM Eastern Time in USA) with a group of brothers. I thought I'd invite the brothers and sisters here on Ding Dash to join in prayer.

@KarlGessler Thanks so much for sharing! What a powerful testimony! I also listened to Kelsey's testimony. My brother-in-law has lived in NO, LA for years and is part of the ministry reaching out on Bourbon St. My husband and I met Kelsey not too long after her transformation, but I knew only part of the testimony before hearing your podcast interview. She's a radiant woman of God.

This verse jumped out at me earlier from John 8:21-30. It is at the end, almost tacked on....that as Jesus was speaking to the Pharisees, others listening in found Jesus/became believers.
Which got me wondering - how much of our normal daily conversations have enough of Jesus in them to bring others to faith? And how can we shine more of Jesus to do more of this for those we interact with and those simply standing by listening in....
One to share as it got me thinking!

@Olamide Happy Anniversary! Praise God for strong marriages and for couples and families serving the Lord together! My husband and I have been married 11 years and 3 months. When the Lord arranges the marriage, it's truly a wonderous thing. May God bless you and your wife as you continue to love Him and each other and serve as one.
@Joshua_D_Jones I can relate. This is one of the hindrances to cast aside as we run with endurance. Will pray for you.
@Olamide I remember the message and his countenance more than his name. Maybe it's Samuel? I don't know the last name. I think he worked directly with VOM? He talked of counseling the parents of the school children who were kidnapped several years ago. He's not so tall and has a soldier-like appearance and a serious face. He didn't smile a lot. He was truly passionate about the Kingdom.
@Olamide this brother's intensity and passionate admonition has never left my heart. I don't know if you are connected with VOM or if you know this brother. But, if you do and if you talk with him and think of it, I'd like him to know that his message was heard. I am doing what I can and praying for more direction and opportunity...to build up the children to be true warriors who know the Truth and are able to proclaim the Truth, and will endure.
