@tanjaostman it sounds much worse than it was. no one was worried, so I didn't worry. everyone found it humorous. it was just Turkey flexing their muscles.
As for being afraid....hmmmmm....
I'm an empty nester now, I have raised two amazing boys, loved and been loved by an amazing woman, have friends that I would lay down my life for, and have witnessed the power of God more times than I deserve.
i've lived 10 lives and am now more than twice the age my father lived to be, so when my time comes, they will not be able to keep me from smiling.

The real danger is not the choppy waters or the leaking boat!
If fear is keeping you away from people in need who have never heard the Salvation message, the Master will say one day " I never knew you " (Mattew 7:21-23).
It is not the will of the Father, even children to perish without Jesus (Mattew 18:14).
Pray for those who are winning souls, not counting the dangers.

PLEASE PRAY for this man! He had a gas explosion in his kitchen! I cannot imagine the pain!
I am often nervous about our cooking elements as they seems to have issues from time to time..............sigh

@tanjaostman I asked a loaded question, but I asked it of myself first. It seems as though God has put amazing natural healing power in us no matter what terrible disease comes along, there are always many who survive it. In a way, this is miraculous, but people always want to look at the ones who died and say, "see!" as if to discredit God. They rarely say, "See! God does what he says." But then there is James chapter 5 about praying for the sick believer. The only requirement is Faith. "..and the sick WILL get well. And if he had comitted any sins, he will be forgiven." Is this miraculous? No matter how you look at it, it all goes back to the Supernatural and Christ. In a way, all healing is miraculous.

One place a Church planter, sat on a chair in front of an Elephant and commanded it to just eat the leaves of banana plant, not to eat the fruit! The elephant obeyed.

Thank God for revealing His Glory by protecting the properties of our Chinese brethren.

Please pray that the leaders and believers may focus on saving souls, inspite of poverty and obstacles.

The fact that our creator gave us the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is a profound truth. Interestingly, the truth is that we cannot fully understand and exercise these rights without Him. Life is so hollow without true meaning, and liberty is a lie when we are confined to the prison of our own corrupt nature. The idea of finding happiness is just a joke without the former. God gives us these gifts, and the ability to enjoy them, through Jesus. He is the Good Shepherd.

Greetings!
I found a group of people who meet every other week in a park about 30min from my home to openly worship Christ in prayer and song, apart from "sterile" Church environment.
They are very imperfect, can't really sing, don't even do Bible studies, just read a verse or two. YET it was a great honour to openly proclaim Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord and King in a fear-struck world.
Hey, and to give Brothers and Sisters a hug again. I almost forgot how good that is. :)
