Their testimony is incredible. Pastor Pan led his church of 28 adults and 32 children to pose as tourists and they fled China to the S. Korean island of JeJu, where they currently are. They have been denied asylum in S. Korea and unless they are accepted elsewhere (which they have not been up till now), they will be forced to return to China very shortly to face intense persecution and torture. They are submitted to the Lord's will in all things and are ready to face their return if need be. Pastor Pan is an amazing man of God and bold leader in the Chinese Underground Church. Please, pray also for the Russian people! All Russians don't support Putin, and life is getting harder in Russia. But I'm afraid they won't feel very welcome in Finland, as hatred towards Russians increase all over the world. Some Finns hate Russians, because of what their forefathers did to our country. But ordinary people are never responsible for their government, or for what their ancestors did!

Today we had a meeting at my workingplace regarding our Russian and Ukrainian students and colleagues. We have zero tolerance for hate speech.

Russia is very right to attack Ukraine and Ukraine too is very right to defend itself. NATO is also right to help defend Ukraine. But which of these interests is God's perfect will? Which interest will benefit God's kingdom more? I believe that the defense of Ukraine will by far profit the advancement of God's kingdom more. Lord, Thy will be done. We need peace in Ukraine.

I am seeing a small number of Christians starting to adopt the idea that Putin is the good guy and supporting his invasion of Ukraine. I am seeing an increase of believers saying that Putin is destroying the One World Government, destroying the Deep State, and ending child trafficking.
Personally, from the evidence that I have seen - this is a lie.
Anyone that believes otherwise, I invite you to convince me otherwise.

@sinbach I've been seeing this too. I don't pretend to understand all that's going on (because I know I don't understand it all!). I would be interested in hearing more of your thoughts on these viewpoints and the evidence that points otherwise. I personally don't think Putin is just trying to destroy child trafficking and biolabs, because it seems if that were the case, the evidence would be different than what we are seeing. But, at the same time, I have become quite skeptical of the media.

@sinbach Yes, I've noticed this too, and it's a bit scary actually, because I'm thinking, what if it was Finland and not Ukraine? Would people think all kind of bad about us too and salute how Putin is actually doing a good job when destroying us and our country..? I admit, it's probably a confusing thought that the main stream media would talk truth "for once"(and I agree they often don't), so I can very well understand how it's easy to start playing around with thoughts of all kinds of conspiracy theories. But I believe this time they are telling the truth about Putin. There really is demonic forces behind him. I probably would have been looking for these alternative theories too, if it wasn't for the fact that this dictator is my neighbour..! We living next door have a long history that teaches us NOT to be naive. We know this is for real and we could be next.

Pray for a team planning travel around the Island encouraging believers to fulfill the Great Commission.

In this episode @sinbach talks about the war and the refugee crises in Europe. I feel honoured and touched that he makes comparisons with, and tell about, the Finnish Winter War during WWII against the Russian army. ❤️ 🙏 There are few that can place Finland (and many other foreign countries) on a map, and Eugene knows not only where the countries are, but also have visited them and knows a lot of details about them.

Please pray for Finland and Sweden, for protection! I don't know what could possibly happen, but these days are traumatic/emotional for Finns, both because of the former wars against Russia, and because of the indirect threaths Putin has uttered.

Please pray for our president Sauli Niinistö that will leave for the USA tomorrow for an appointment with Joe Biden! (I shared a statement from our president in an earlier post today). As you might know Finland and Sweden are among the few nations in Europe that are not members of NATO.
