weird, but this video brought back so many memories. I would always look for places to be alone so I could secretly practice calling cadence. One of the things I loved when I was a young Sgt was singing/yelling out this cadence while watching the sun rise over Recon Ridge.

@andyharris wow! i never knew about that bridge - i mean of course I knew about it by visual recognition - but never knew the history of that bridge system or the significance. ....i just looked it up. that is an absolutely fascinating piece of history. pretty cool

@MaryMamuzich both of the first stores are in iraq.
...and unfortunately i will NOT see my wife till next month. ...not easy, but the price that we pay for this calling. she was well trained though. we were married when i was in the Marines and we had to spend months away from each other then too - 6 months at a time. now is we serve in a different unit, but the sacrifices required are no less. the benefits however are much better. God has an amazing dental plan. 😂

@Berrybunchfamily not exactly, but they are pork. better than salami in my opinion. they are super popular in germany. these ones are spanish. - but they are cured pork meat in pork gut. they are perfect when they are fresh.
