So my heart switched to a normal rhythm this morning...didn't know that until 2 hours later when the consultant met with me and told me it had
Heart rate was down
Blood pressure was up
Waiting on an ultrasound of my heart to check that out
So I'm probably gonna be on blood thinners, until I can be processed through an arythmia clinic to make sure I don't have a stroke in the meantime. Beta blockers to prevent my heart from going off on one again by keeping its pace lower. And blood pressure meds to bring that down
It spiked yesterday but didn't want to come down
With the heart rate reducing, it seems to be coming down on its own though...
They're hoping I should be discharged later today
It hinges on a slot happening for the ultrasound of my heart, which they've been waiting for for a while
They still hope I'll be discharged this afternoon/evening
30 minute walk under my own power today. Then, when Jo came home, I drove out to our local supermarket - which I really enjoyed...I've been getting a dry cough of an evening, but the Aircon sorted that straight away.... would've been useful knowing that a week ago!
Still, I'm getting slowly better, Jo is back to work, and the boys are back on their home ed
None of us is 100%, but we're all better than yesterday...and that matters!
Meanwhile, loads of Jo's colleagues are also going down with covid, many quite hard.
Thanks for your ongoing prayers
Onwards!!

I'm outside the house 🙂
Walking to the local shop with @StevenBerry for a card and some dinner
It's an exciting moment for Me after two weeks never leaving the house...going to A&E doesn't count

@MaryMamuzich @tanjaostman I had a very long shuffle from the hospital to the car yesterday...not much fun though! I want to be back up in the fields above our home!!!! I'm quite a away from that...I need to physically present myself to our local doctor in order to register...that's about a 10 minute walk on a good day...hoping to try that this afternoon
BreakingNews: @tymektt has pronounced upon me a new nickname. 😇
From today I will be know as "Holy Olly".... 😌😂
With special thanks to @Olamide (aka Holy Oly) who serves diligently to make ding dash a fun place to be 🤣
Woke up feeling much stronger and the foul taste in my mouth was gone.
But Jo and I do have a nasty cough. Real nasty!
But lying down makes the cough worse, and I find myself worrying about my breathing......not for the first time, but I'm nervous of breathing deeply in case it makes me cough even more.
Temperature fine one moment, then sweating the next, and back again.
@MaryMamuzich that one is an especially cruel symptom on him
Grateful for the prayers. Steven a little ill, Nathan ok, Peter is cold and has a mild headache.
Jo and I barely able to leave the bed (I really don't like hanging around in a bed!). Pain killers finally reducing my headache. We're exhausted, and we can't think straight.
On the plus side I woke up today without the odd sensation in my lungs that I've had for the past few days....can't describe ii verh well...perhaps like a cold pain? That's now gone, thankfully!
25th wedding anniversary plans now killed off, which is the least of our issues.

In Italy the situation is really unbearable. Without a vaccination passport you can no longer work. As I have already written to you since the first of September I am at home without work. It's sad but it's happening right under our eyes. I have been a believer for twenty years and I can assure you that it is a very hard test. I am also thinking of expatriation but I don't even know where to go. They took our jobs away! Pray again for my wife and me. Let's pray together for Italy. Remember that what is happening now here could happen anywhere because Italy has been chosen as the world leader for the organization of vaccinations. Thanks again. I love you in Jesus Christ.
