@tymektt thanks Tym
@MaryMamuzich that one is an especially cruel symptom on him
@tanjaostman thanks Tanja
@MaryMamuzich @KarlGessler thanks Mary
I don't have a headache, which is good
But eating is quite unpleasant!
@KarlGessler our sadness is compounded as today should have been the first day of a much needed break...our 25th wedding anniversary this Tuesday is gonna have to be celebrated some other time. I'd be surprised if we were feeling better by the end of next week, as things stand
@KarlGessler thankyou.
we're all still utterly dreadful. Energyless. Lifeless.
Seeing the boys so low is horrible.
Jo and I have a proper nasty taste in our mouths, which makes eating anything without feeling more sick a huge obstacle
Can't taste anything either. Its a bizarre situation!
We are all up today (yesterday I couldn't find the strength to get out of bed) although today I've had a shower and a tiny bit of scrambled egg...the most I've eaten in a couple of days
Marriage Matters, Season 1, Episode 3 – ‘What did you say?’
Introduction
In this week’s episode of Marriage Matters, Andy and Jo are focusing on communication in marriage – healthy communication, misunderstandings, and arguments - the good, the bad and the ugly!
Let’s be honest, we all make mistakes, say the wrong thing, raise our voices and so on…join Andy and Jo as they share their experiences; being honest about an incident involving a cushion!
#RealTalk – What did you say?
This week is wrapped around scripture to keep us on the right track when it comes to communicating with our spouses, starting with wholesome, healthy, good communication - a very good place to start - and end!
Andy and Jo are not afraid to admit that things go wrong in marriages, that they have misunderstood one another from time to time – it happens!

@Cherishingsparrows2020 Thankyou
@MaryMamuzich the headache is shocking. My latest one lasted nearly 24 hours, with no let up, and pain killers did nothing
@MaryMamuzich thankyou for doing that. That helps a lot
Today is a weak day, for sure.
Please thank them for us for their concern
@MaryMamuzich Thankyou Mary
Yesterday we had dinner with the boys and watched a film together.
Nd yet, today, Jo and I haven't been yet able to get out of bed.
We're both feeling much rougher today, not better - hoping this marks the beginning of the end of the virus, rather than sinking back into it
Today is also the end of our 10 day self isolation, and 7 days with very obvious symptoms
Feeling pretty broken today. Ongoing prayers would be most appreciated
Boys seem much less bad. Steven describes his current symptoms as like that of a head cold
Covid updates: Jo and I feeling a bit worse today...totally exhausted, and weak, feeling generally very rubbish
Temperature fluctuations have calmed down, but Jo's cough comes and goes
My headache is back, despite an amazing prayer video that @Olamide sent me (even more special because he isn't exactly at home right now!)
I want sleep, buy am trying to stay awake so I can sleep overnight....I may just g to sleep soon
Yesterday we were eating almost approaching normally. Today I've given up eating a banana half way in, because it's too draining
Run down, weak, tired - that is is this morning.
Boys seem to be very slowly improving, which is encouraging
And @Jo_PrayerN_actionCenter someone just messaged to ask if we need anything bringing over...they aren't exactly local, but help is help! Thanks for your specific prayers
Andy
@Jo_PrayerN_actionCenter it's 3am here and I'm fully awake - didn't sleep last night, and ended up sleeping for many hours during the day, which explains my not being sleepy right now!
there seem some similar experiences, yes
for our part, we eventually gave up trying to keep channels open....people see what they see, and it became more than worth it to keep explaining - the judgements come all the more!
God has provided us with some AMAZING supporters, via DingDash - people who not just pray from afar, but encourage us and love us in ways you'd only normally expect from people you've physically met
God is good, and those that need to know the truth of our journey hold us up as good examples of faithful people...but it isn't always possible to go into enough detail with everybody
we've been walking in faith for well beyond a decade, any many don't do well seeing how we live, because it isn't the norm
it's taken a while, but we're ok with that
thanks for your prayers and words!
@MaryMamuzich @tanjaostman God is good! 🙂
We make our choices, but many people haven't liked some of ours
That's okay, cos they're missing out, not us ;-)
@MaryMamuzich @tanjaostman it's very bizarre! I've only had flu a few times. The last time was a moving day, in the snow....which we had to do in our own - there was no help and no possibility of delaying....
@StevenBerry @Olamide there's always hope
