@Berrybunchfamily Thank you. I'm glad to hear it. Jesus is everything to me. God bless you.

@faith20 you're such a blessing to me - through your heart, and love of Jesus

@bethany @MaryMamuzich Bethany - you don't have green fingers either? We can kill the unkillable

Even spider plants have to worry in our house

Just an observation understanding that causation and correlation are not the same.
I spent xmas in a cabin with my parents and siblings.
Everyone got the rhona....well almost everyone.
I got it. two boys and wife got it (confirmed with test). My step-dad got it.
We are all v@xed. My shots were in October and my stepdad just had the booster last month and he was so bad that he was taken into surgery and is currently in the urgent care wing of the Ball Memorial Hospital.
My unv@xed mother is five years older than my step-dad and only had the sniffles. She was over it in a day. My unv@xed sister - yep, she did NOT get it at all.
So....on a personal level....the record in our family for those with the jab is less than underwhelming.

"But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd".

Matthew 9:36 NKJV

Even today Jesus has the same compassion, He who is the same yesterday, today and forever and who is the Living One. I know that Jesus will help us, and he will do it for each of you and for his Church spread throughout the world.

Went to see my step-dad on the covid floor at the hospital today.
I felt pretty official.

@tanjaostman today is Peter's choice (we take it in turns to choose)

Digital Monopoly (we've got a few different versions 😊 )

@daniel I'd love to experience that one day... I'll have to keep hoping for now

@daniel sneakers..great film, with a stupendous cast - but he stood out for me in that movie, by a country mile!

@TakeN i really love how you've made a puddle resemble a lake!!!

@mensajero really interesting video

My grandfather fought in Burma as a Chindit, before being captured by the Japanese. He quickly escaped, and was aided by a local Burmese family.

Having been born and raised in India, the jungle didn't scare him.

Interesting man!!

Interesting video - thanks for sharing

No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. (Joshua 1:5 NKJV)

"I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. (Matthew 28:20 NKJV)

@DevotionalTreasures we hand make all our cards πŸ™‚

And yes I agree we've lost the personal touch. As we've seen advances in technology to join us - and they're great! We've also lost the ability to be in the room because we can be any room in the world, perhaps?

@DevotionalTreasures can I be controversial? (not sure why I'm asking - too late once I hit enter)

But, I got quite upset at people not sending cards for Christmas.

It is always for the environment (yeah right!), and the money is given to a charity instead

but we know half of that money is paying wages and bonuses of executives (at least this is so in the UK)

so, why not, you know, send a card to someone that needs a physical reminder that you've thought of them?!?

i've never been all that offended by it before, but - this last year, at least - it really got to me

if you can't afford it, fine. life happens

but if you decide not to send physical tokens of your thoughts for others, don't shout about it and just give 50% of what you'd have probably spent, to faceless charities...how about say nothing, and go buy a homeless person a coffee instead?!?

sorry to hijack your thread here Alan...just really got my heart sad with all we've endured through covid lockdowns
