4 weeks of blood thinners = 4 weeks with a beard.

Found some beard oil, and I'm now oiling and combing it most days

The barbed wire that was growing out of my face has now softened a little too

Andy B

@Olamide ?

@DevotionalTreasures @bethany lol yep. Got it in one

They had 4 crates of them...a lady thanked me for saving one as I carried it away 🙂

@DevotionalTreasures @bethany a British baragain??

Christmass tree unwrapped

And the tree only cost us £1.00

Lights we had, and I got clearance baubles for £3.50 🙂

Andy B

@MaryMamuzich I'm not so sure Dave had heard if it either

I love Jo too :-)

Christingles as a tradition started in Germany. A priest wanted an object lesson to help him tell the gospel story

I feel all exposed

The giant frame and curtain we made, is now packed....

The one with me and Jo is the before photo!

Christingle with the BerryBunch, 2021

youtu.be/PmOd8L6mrC8

This year, JoJo is joined by Dave the Dog who shows us how to make a Christingle, well -Dave the Dog style!

Dave the Dog collected up all the elements of a Christingle as instructed by Andy B and asks JoJo to put it together for him. As far as Dave is concerned his Christingle is the same as Andy’s, but JoJo has her doubts, see what you think!

Christingle is the good news of Jesus in a nutshell – well in an orange – or in Dave the Dog’s case – in a lemon – Don’t ask, just watch this year’s Christingle

@MaryMamuzich good news on the dogs leaving your tree alone 🙂

We're nearly ready to put ours up now...just a few more things to pack away

@MaryMamuzich @Olamide me too

the lovely people on here have helped enormously - so much encouragement, prayer and support

@MaryMamuzich good evening Mary, our sister and friend!

lovely tree and set up - has your dog found the dangling decorations yet?!? 😂 our s always did.....you'd have thought they were cats when the tree came out

@MaryMamuzich
so, we put up our decorations this year. but they were causing me breathing issues - due to the bad mould they sat in in our last homer

last night, i finally owned up to Jo and Steven...so down came the decorations and we ran an air purifier at maximum all night.

all good now! and we'd planned to bin them after christmas anyway, and start afresh next year

but i was struck by something - "what is God's best for me and my family?"

this isn't about stuff, but the heart of God wanting to bless His children

so we went out and hunted for a tree

i figured i'd find a sorry looking plastic one somewhere...but, instead, I found a real christmas tree fro £1.00. i had to check it was the right price - it was

so we now have a real christmas tree and very few decorations were left on the concussed looking shelves

it isn't up yet - am clearing the studio away so we have somewhere to put it

Jo said we should be creative enough to make some decorations

🙂

Surrogate Dad

Last night, my wife Susie and I, hosted my three youngest sisters for what we call “Christmas Eve Eve.” (We had to add an extra “eve” this year). This tradition is 15 years old. These are my youngest sisters and they were 3, 5, and 7 when our father suddenly died.

My wife and I married one year after my Dad’s death and we have hosted these young ladies ever since as a means of closing some of the void left by Dad’s absence.

This year, they insisted a read “Mortimer’s Christmas Manger” like I did all those years ago. I can’t explain how full I felt to be surrounded by these young ladies in comfort and acceptance. Not many people get to be Dad and brother. And of course, I am not Dad, except maybe a little. And that little counts for a lot.

It is Gospel work to meet an unmet need. Attempting it will meet a need in you too. I pray that you will answer the call today. Obedience pays high dividends.

@KarlGessler dude! seriously - you rock!!

what a legacy to be a part of!!!

and you got to know your own children will be looking, learning, living, loving

Andy B

our studio is now packed. which is sad...

but!!!

the BerryBunch Studio, version 3.0 will be coming back real soon.............we're moving from a 7'6" square studio to a room that is 14' squared...........and we're very much looking forward to that space (which will also house 3 desks for the boys to do their home education)

well, we hope to have the studio back up and running properly sometime February or March 2022 anyway

and we aren't exactly the sort to go silent. not even covid did that!! i've got a podcast i've been asked to for someone, 2 books to edit, and Andy B 2 Minute Videos as I'm inspired

and talking to @Olamide and @MaryMamuzich and many others here on DingDash 🙂 but of course

and i'm doing more cooking again, and i have some mouths that will be wanting their dinner in an hour or so

Andy B

@Cherishingsparrows2020 thank you

It came to me, and I felt I should share it so I did

Really lifted up that's it is encouraging a few folks 🙂

Thats always my goal

@MaryMamuzich don't we just!

God is carefully pulling back the armour so we can fight better. And we're trying to pull back it on...

@MaryMamuzich and Thankyou

Not our best performance...but one of our funniest ones and we loved doing it

Studio gets packed next, so that's the last filming we're doing in this house
