“And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

Matthew 9:36-38

The “harvesters” are also the healers which goes hand in hand with the good news of the Kingdom.

We can all talk about the failures of “the Church” in the West. But “the Church” is us. We are called to do the works of Jesus. No more pointing the finger at ministries and pastors. Jesus commissioned us, you and me, to do the work. Let’s just do it.

It's time to break out the weapons. ⚡️

"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses."
1 Corinthians 10:4

Here are some suggestions for going to war for the Kingdom of God.

1. Bless your home by inviting the Presence of God

2. Ask the Lord to help you identify demonic influences in your home. Consider books, movies, music, magazines, even photos of an old flame you haven't yet relinquished....

3. Bless your children.

4. Listen to one another.

5. Walk the length of your property, inviting God's presence.

6. Bless your enemies and those who persecute you.

7. Proclaim a curse on the works of the devil.

8. Bless your city council and county commissioners with an awareness of the Presence of God. Bless them with wisdom.

9. Bless extended family members and neighbors. Be specific as the Holy Spirit leads you.

10. Ask the Lord to anoint you for a new assignment.

What else can you think of?

Please pray for my husband this weekend he feels led to share the gospel with a few specific people. Thanks!! 🙏🏻

Please pray for Miss.Y, student in a safe country. Father pastoring a Church and leading people to Christ in a hostile community.

His creation is the best worship song.
Without saying a word leaves me breathtaking. How little I am. How beautiful He is. How much I need to change to reflect Him that well. His grace is enough.

Which of you is in a fellowship preparing the Body to stand against persecution and betrayal re Matthew 24?

Thomas Watson:

“Meditatiom is a holy exercise of the mind whereby we bring the truths of God to remembrance, and do seriously ponder upon them and apply them to ourselves.”

“Meditation is the soul’s retiring of itself so that, by a serious and solemn thinking upon God, the heart may be raised up to heavenly affections.”

The Lord spoke to me today with these verses that I thought I'd share with you. God bless you all.

- Psalms 119:160 NKJV
The entirety of Your word is truth ...

- I Corinthians 16:14 NKJV
Let all that you do be done with love.

- Colossians 3:14 NKJV
But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.

- John 13:35 NKJV
By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

- I John 3:18 NKJV
My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

May God help us all to shine His love that He poured into our hearts in Christ Jesus.

@DevotionalTreasures
I enjoy your daily devotions. Nathan's pictures are beautiful!

I must admit I am passionate about words and their use. This has been the case since the early 80s and my high school days. But it is only when I apply my love of words to serving my Father God that my heart really begins to sing. It really excites me when words flow freely by the guiding hand of His Holy Spirit; for me there is no greater joy! @MaryMamuzich

@Susan @zephan I was reading AB Simpson, founder of the Christian and Missionary Alliance and a lead in development of the “full gospel” church, recently including a number of his books—he’s an amazing author and they are free online— and liked what he had to say here about prayer: hopefaithprayer.com/prayernew/
